Alistair Sanders has joined us and, with his wife and family, has recently moved to live in our church manse in Stotfold. Alistair has already had a rich and varied career, in, for example, Bible college teaching and in graphic design, and has been in church ministry for several years. Children are important to Alistair, he and Kathrin have four of their own and he loves to see children enjoy church life.

We are keen to see the church grow in number and spiritual strength as well as being a welcoming place for those who know very little about God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. Each Sunday morning at 10:30 we meet in the church building for just over an hour. We worship God and are encouraged by being together in his presence.

We have a variety of different activities each month. Please see our website for more details or ring us on 01462 730521. kingsbaptistchurch.org.uk

Churches Together Stotfold is part of the national organisation 'Churches Together England. ' With representation from St. Mary's Church, The Salvation Army, Stotfold Methodist Church and King's Baptist Church, we have worked collaboratively in Stotfold over many years.

Recently our Open the Book team started going back into our local primary schools to bring Bible stories alive! We use pre-written scripts and act out the stories in front of the children during assembly. Often we get recognised with much enthusiasm when out and about in Stotfold:'I saw you in assembly!' or 'You're in Open the Book aren't you!' During lockdown we provided the schools with pre-recorded videos after using our creative talents in other ways! They were fun to produce and the children especially loved laughing at the out-takes! However, nothing compares with being in the schools and seeing the delight of the children.

We are grateful to the schools for making us so welcome!

Churches Together are delighted to be back in school offering children the chance to ‘Open the book’ . One of the readers above..
