Professor Dr. Sumalee Sungsri, a faculty member of STOU School of Educational Studies, and Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, represented STOU for attending the OU5 meeting to promote collaboration regarding Institutional Research, ASEAN Studies Research, and the publication of AJODL. This event hosted by Universitas Terbuka and held at J.W. Marriot Hotel, Surabaya, Indonesia from 30 January to 1 February 2016.

STOU Welcomes Visitor from Massey University

On 8 December 2015, Asst. Prof. Orasa Pankhao, Vice-President for Corporate Communications and International Affairs, Asst. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President, Asst. Prof. Annop Jeenawathana, Dean of the School of Educational Studies, and a group of faculty members from School of Educational Studies welcomed Prof. Dr. John O’Neill, Director of Institute of Education, from Massey University in New Zealand on the occasion of his visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU) to discuss academic collaboration and to exchange views and experiences. At this time, the Memorandum of Understanding between STOU and Massey was formally and signed in order to strengthen and reaffirm the long relationship for offering the best possible educational services to our students.

STOU Welcomes Visitor from Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan

Asst. Prof. Dr. Monwipa Wongrujira, Assistant to the President of STOU warmly welcomes the delegation from Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan led by Mr. Tshering Wangdi, Director of Sherbtse College. The delegates visited the Educational Broadcasting Production Center, the Office of Educational Services, the Office of the University Press, and the King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambhai Barni Documentation Center on 10 February 2016. Moreover, Associate Professor Dr. Walaiwad Rodchompoo from the Office of Educational Technology, gave a presentation on "STOU: Online Learning" and Ms. Nonglak Madwangseang, Senior Graphic Desinger from e-Learning Centre, takes the delegates to observe the operation of the e-Learning Centre.
