The meeting aimed to summarize the results of the joint research teams and to plan th
next researches in 2017. In addition, members also discussed the current status an improvement of the AJODL in the future.

On 4 May 2017, Associate Professor Dr. Panumas Kudngaongarm, Acting President of STOU, warmly welcomed the delegation from Universitas Islam Kadiri, Indonesia led by Dr. Syahrul Reza, Director of International Coorporation, on the occasion of their official visit to Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU). Ms. Ajjaree Limpamont, Faculty Member from the School of Management Science, gave a lecture on “Thailand 4.0: The Management Perspective� to the delegation. After the lecture, the delegation had an opportunity to visit Educational Broadcasting Production Center (EBPC) where they exchanged information and experiences with STOU staff.

On 15-26 May 2017, Associate Professor Dr. Ladda Vatjanasaregagul, Faculty Member from the School of Management Science, joined the International Staff Exchange Fellowship Program in Shanghai Open University (SOU). The Staff Exchange Fellowship Program is a project under collaboration of the member institutions of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU). The purpose of the program is to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience in open and distance education and enhance the capacities of member institutions through mutual assistance and partnership. Associate Professor Dr. Ladda Vatjanasaregagul received training, carried out an academic exchange and undertook a collaborative research project. This program strengthens the relationship between STOU and SOU through academic exchange and enhances the quality of teaching and research in the field of open and distance learning.

Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, was invited to be one of the Organizing Programme Committee Members for the 4th International Mobile Learning Festival (IMLF2017) held during 8-10 June 2017 at The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, the People's Republic of China. IMLF2017 explored the Mobile Technologies and Emerging Learning Design in the context of higher and corporate education. The conference was an exceptional venue for sharing information on contemporary approaches to human development and education at all levels, learning design, mobile learning, e-learning, and Learning 2.0 from around the world.

On 8 June 2017, Mrs. Rattip Phukkeson, Acting Head of International Affairs, made an official visit to The University of Hong Kong, where Ms. Cathy Wong, Senior Program Manager, International Affairs Office, gave a warm welcome. The visit was aimed to observe the operation of the International Affairs Office in order to gain experience from one of the leading universities in Asia. In addition, this visit was beneficial as well as strengthen the relationship among the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) members.
