Since 2013, STOW has been creating and perfecting luxurious and colourful travel accessories made to last. Our pieces will weather with your travels and become your favourite travel companion.

Designed in Britain and hand-crafted in Spain, our insistence on using only exceptional quality leather and the finest materials has gained us many accolades. Our orange First Class Tech Case caught the attention of many a famous face, including royalty.

Expert craftsmanship and thoughtful design gives our iconic products a wow factor without forgoing a timeless beauty. We understand the importance of handing down not only the stories from our life’s adventures but also heirlooms to cherish from the journey.

One of our best-sellers, The First Class Tech Case, is the modern equivalent of a leather writing case I travelled the world with during my gap year. It was a gift from my mother on my 18th birthday, just as she too had been gifted one by her mother. I still have the original writing case.

This spring we bring you four brand-new designs as well as our classics, all created for the modern traveller.

New in are STOW’s Saddle Bags, Travel Totes, Laptop Messenger Bags and Notebook Cases.

We have partnered with a small, familyowned factory in Ubrique, Spain since our launch. We elect not to work with factories outside of Europe to make our margins fatter.

It is a deliberate choice to reduce the air miles of our business practice and to support keeping the incredible traditional skills of Spanish artisans alive.

The craftwork for each design is split up into various stages amongst a small number of differently trained workers, who (with over three hundred years of leather working heritage to draw on) have a specific skill or expertise required for each design.

We are anti-waste, anti-overproduction and against landfills created by fast fashion’s unsustainable practices. We have a strong sustainability policy covering everything from packaging to our own travel policy.

STOW has always produced small quantities with stock levels managed tightly.

We are not trend-led and produce timeless classics to last.

All materials are responsibly sourced.

Knowing the provenance of all materials is essential to us. All leather and suede is from leading European gold-rated Leather Working Group Tanneries who are environmentally certified. Only high-quality zips and hardware components are used to ensure that all our products are hard wearing and long lasting.

Our founder, Carol, designs all our original products.

Each piece is constructed by hand with the use of sewing machines and cutting knives.

Our factory promotes a positive work environment where fair wages are paid, and hours of work and holidays are regulated fairly. Carol visits the factory frequently. www.stowlondon.co.uk

We are dedicated to keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum. By ensuring that all 3

materials are sourced and manufactured in Europe supports this mission.

Our products are transported by DHL via Spain and France and across the channel to our warehouse in North Hertfordshire, England. All orders shipped to customers from the warehouse are done so via the DHL Carbon Neutral service at an additional cost to STOW; the Carbon Neutral initiative supports projects that offset the emissions of the shipment’s transport. Via this service, we support projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment and methane destruction.

Bobbi Brown STOW speaks to Friend of STOW Bobbi Brown, the American who loves all things English.

Having built up and sold the Bobbi Brown cosmetic empire, she has moved onto new ventures that include a hotel (The George Inn NJ), a wellness supplement brand called Evolution 18, and most recently her fantastic new make-up brand (it is Bobbi Brown after all!) called Jones Road. Carol is a massive fan of her Miracle Balm - try it!

To where would you most like to stowaway?

At the moment - my bed. But, I have been dreaming of a week long visit to a serious detox spa to reset my health and mind.

Best piece of travel attire to stay stylish when on the move?

Atonamie, black pencil pants - they can be worn for sport or black tie. They are thin, great for warm weather, will wash in sink, and dry overnight.

Who would you take with you?

I would take my sister or myself; it is not the kind of trip my husband would go on.

How do you stay stylish when travelling?

I wear scarves and jewelry. My clothes are always basic and a little roomy when traveling.

One essential piece of kit you cannot travel without, and why?

I always pack my sneakers and exercise clothes first - I need to move my body everyday.

Best piece of fashion advice you’ve received?

Find a great tailor. I’m 5ft so there is little off the rack for me.

What is your favourite STOW piece, and why?

Who is your travel hero/heroine and why?

My husband - he is never tired or jetlagged.

He insists we walk to our destinations; we often clock 25,000 steps on a trip.

My Helen Ficalora necklace with all my children’s initials and a peace sign for me.

Which luxury item can you not travel without?

My Cartier Sport Watch - it’s light and works with any outfit. It’s my go to signature for sure.
