Win Tickets to the Main Event Festival and see The Blackout! The Main Event: 4th September, 2010 Tickets for this year’s award winning Main Event youth music and performing arts festival are now on sale. The tickets are selling out fast but Youth4Youth are offering people the chance to win them free, every day from Monday 23 rd August until Friday 3rd September, from their website. The Main Event festival will take place from 1pm­10pm on Saturday 4 th September at the Kingswood Foundation and will bring together young people from all over Bristol and beyond. Every day throughout the 12 day competition, 10 lucky entrants will win tickets by answering the following question about the awe­inspiring headline act The Blackout: “Which town does The Blackout originate from?” Details and the terms & conditions of this exciting opportunity can be found on Youth4Youth’s website www.youth4youth.co.uk from the 23rd August. The Main Event 2010 is set to be another great year, with the Welsh rock band The Blackout headlining. Previous headliners have included Lil’ Chris and Fightstar. There is plenty of entertainment going on throughout the day and this year boasts music on two stages, a large open air stage and an inside stage. There are also plenty of workshops such as circus, parkour and gladiators to get involved with. Youth4Youth are also pleased to announce crowd favourites Matt and Zaid will be hosting the day.
