Clearwater Jazz Holiday Moves

Clearwater Jazz Holiday Returns Oct. 14-17 In New Location

As the City of Clearwater builds Clearwater Jazz Holiday’s new Imagine Clearwater home in Coachman Park, Clearwater Jazz Holiday, the City of Clearwater, and the Clearwater Threshers are teaming up to present the 42nd Annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday on October 14-17 at BayCare Ballpark, 601 Old Coachman Rd.

Formerly Spectrum Field, BayCare Ballpark is an open air, outdoor stadium which will be transformed into the Bay area’s largest outdoor Jazz fest party. Headliners will feature Kool & The Gang (Oct. 14), Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (Oct. 15), Gloria Gaynor (Oct. 16) and Snarky Puppy (Oct. 17). From smooth and straightahead jazz, to rhythm and blues, soul, jam band, folk, Americana, funk, fusion, Latin, and more, the diverse lineup reaches out all who appreciate the excitement and energy of a live music festival.

In its new venue at BayCare Ballpark, organizers have orchestrated seating arrangements aimed at social distancing while providing outstanding views for audiences. With the stage situated in the outfi eld, the entire playing fi eld area will be reserved for some 400 four-seat café tables (VIP seating). General admission will be open seating in the stands and a limited number of standing room only tickets will allow access to the grass outfi eld berm behind the stage, the Tiki Bar, and various concourse high-tops and picnic tables.

This will be a reduced capacity event so advance tickets are highly recommended. Tickets are $25 for general admission; $10 for standing room; VIP tickets sold as tables on the fi eld of 4 and 2 only, $200 per seat. Two day and four day weekend packages start at $40 and $80, plus fees. For more information, go to clearwaterjazz.com
