History helps pupils to understand the complexity of people’s lives, the process of change, the diversity of societies and relationships between different groups, as well as discovering their own identity and the challenges of their time. History is an exciting subject to learn at St Peter's 8-13. It combines fascinating stories with challenging questions and ideas, and encourages pupils to think for themselves about both the past and the present.
