CATHEDR AL ANTIQUES SHOW Over two dozen carefully selected dealers of period furniture, jewelry, art, and accessories ranging from 17th-century antiques to iconic mid-century modern pieces are gathered under one roof. Find that perfect piece, begin a collection, or simply enjoy browsing. Thursday, February 4 – Friday, February 5; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, February 6; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Donation: $15

FLOWER FESTIVAL See the best in floral design: spaces throughout the antiques show will be adorned with the work of leading garden clubs, and sacred spaces in the Cathedral of St. Philip will be graced by the designs of Atlanta flower guilds. Encounter masterpieces of classic style as well as examples of the latest trends. Thursday, February 4 – Friday, February 5; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, February 6; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

PREVIEW PARTY This gala party offers attendees first choice of fine period furniture, art, jewelry, and accessories from the past four centuries— including mid-century modern. Wednesday, February 3; 6:30–9 p.m. Donation: $150

TOUR OF HOMES Step into a world of timeless style as five of Atlanta's most beautiful private residences are opened to the public for just one day. Each home is a showcase of the best in interior design, architecture, and the art of good living. Sunday, February 7; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Donation: $30 in advance, $35 on day of tour

FIRST PLACE PASSION TOUR Five charming houses are featured on this popular tour of young professionals' first places. These stylish homes prove that antiques don't have to be stuffy and bold design can happen in intimate spaces. Sunday, January 31; 1–4 p.m. Donation: $20 AN EVENING WITH JULIA REED Enjoy signature drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and great conversation with Garden & Gun's Julia Reed in the ambience of a Buckhead estate. The essayist and author of the best-selling But Mama Always Put Vodka in Her Sangria is a master conversationalist and an avowed bon-vivant. Says Reed: "A party is always a great thing!" Friday, February 5; 7 p.m. Donation: $125

Proceeds from the 2016 Cathedral Antiques Show and Tour of Homes benefit Literacy Action, the largest adult literacy nonprofit in the Southeast. Literacy Action teaches undereducated adults literacy, life, and work skills to empower them to reach their highest potential. Serving adults age 16 and up, Literacy Action offers a variety of classes and programs teaching reading and writing, mathematics, and English to speakers of other languages.
