OLD FASHIONED SUNDAY SCHOOL (ROOM 133) This year, we join Christians across time and around the world in exploring the question that Jesus posed to his disciples: “But who do you say that I am?”

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY (ROOM 122) Jim Bingham and Gordon Mathis lead an ongoing small group Bible Study focusing on a particular book of the Bible for several months at a time.

BIBLICAL GREEK (ROOM 356) Beginning Biblical Greek is offered by the Rev. Dr. Thee Smith on a drop-in basis on Sunday mornings at 10:10 a.m.

Continuing Biblical Greek classes are offered on Sundays from 1:15–2:45 p.m. for anyone who wants to learn the basics of translation using grammar aids, lexicons, and commentaries.

MUSIC KENNETH MILLER TO PERFORM This Sunday, May 21, we welcome organist and former Cathedral music intern Kenneth Miller as our recitalist at 3:15 p.m. A graduate of LenoirRhyne and Yale universities, Miller currently serves as assistant professor of church music and organist and choirmaster of the Chapel of the Apostles at the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. His program will include works by Schmidt, Bach, and Rogg. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear once again Ken’s magnificent playing!

SPIR ITUALIT Y CATHEDR AL PILGRIMAGE TO IONA IN 2018 Canon Cathy Zappa and the Cathedral’s Spiritual Formation and Contemplative Ministries program announces our first (of hopefully many) pilgrimage!

Join other Cathedral parishioners and pilgrims from around the world for a week in Iona, Scotland with John Philip and Ali Newell, June 9-16, 2018.

John Philip will teach on themes related to the oneness of the human soul and the healing of creation, asking what sacrifices we are to make in our lives as individuals, as nations, and as a species, if we and the world are to be well. The afternoons will be given to hiking, conversation, and rest, and the early evenings to embodiment practices of chant and meditative movement and further reflection on the way of transformation in our world.

The travel dates are June 7-17, but we’re offering an optional package of extra days in Edinburgh at the beginning of the trip (June 5-17).

Because airfares and pilgrimage costs have not yet been set, we can only give you estimates! We expect to get final pricing later this summer.

VERONICA'S SEEKS TOILETRY DONATIONS St. Veronica’s Guild would like to thank all those who have participated in this year's toiletry drive for four Episcopal ministries in the Atlanta area, which serve homeless and near homeless persons. Each ministry has expressed profound appreciation for our donations. Now that the weather is warmer and more people are traveling, the guild would like to remind everyone that we still need new, unopened, travel-sized or regular-sized, personal care items.

Having recently visited most of these ministries, guild members report that the most requested items are bar soap, washcloths, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and feminine hygiene products. The assistant manager is a part time (up to 20 hours a week) position that involves assisting the manager with the entire range of duties in the operation of the Cathedral Book Store. The offsite coordinator also manages our offsite event sales: scheduling, packing, traveling to other churches, selling and bringing back inventory.

EAT WITH FRIENDS AT THE WEDNESDAY MARKET Wednesday evenings from 4:30–8 p.m., guests can find farm-to-table fresh meals to enjoy at the market or take home. Live music, chef popups, and local breweries make it the perfect evening.

This year, we're spending our Wednesday evenings on the Lanier House Lawn, a relaxed, shady area directly adjacent to the Cathedral parking lot.
