UTO Ingathering

UNITED THANK OFFERING: GRATITUDE FOR ALL AGES Many thanks to our community of all ages for giving to last fall’s UTO Ingathering. We raised $1096, which joined with giving across Episcopal dioceses to give more than $925,000 in grants to address community impacts from COVID-19.

This spring, we invite our community – young and old – to again consider with gratitude how we can give to our Episcopal community through UTO. While UTO is often considered a children’s program – to give coins in our UTO Blue Box – we are all invited to give. With just 40 people giving $30 this fall, we can grow our collective impact on UTO 2023 grants, which focus on innovative mission and ministry projects addressing the worldwide incarceration crisis.

We invite you into a season of gratitude ahead, to thank God for all the good things he has given us. Then, we invite you to consider supporting UTO on Sunday, May 8, or prior with your thank offering at cathedralATL.org/uto.

Cathedral SCHOLARS

The Cathedral Scholars program aims to provide financial, vocational, communal, and spiritual support to members of the Cathedral community who seek to further their educational goals. The Cathedral community is far-reaching and includes members of the Cathedral parish, Cathedral staff and their immediate family members, as well as the Cathedral's many parochial entities. Scholarships are awarded depending on funds available and the number of applicants eligible. The deadline to apply for annual scholarships that begin with the fall semester/quarter is May 31. The application can be found at cathedralATL.org/scholarship.

Stop by and place a flower in the cross that will be set up in the Atrium on Easter Sunday. Bringing something from your own garden is a practice that is certainly welcome, and one that many find especially meaningful.
