From the Board Chair

When I reflect on the 2020-2021 school year at St. Pius X High School, I am filled with pride. Despite the unparalleled challenges that arose due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, our Panther community did not waver.

Families, alumni, and faculty/staff members all recognized the need to give differently, and rose to the challenge. Teachers and students heroically took on fast-paced changes in the classroom, and our community was there to make sure they had every means necessary to succeed. Thanks to tireless support, our school was able to equip enhanced sanitation procedures throughout campus. We were able to provide technological solutions to distance learning such as Swivl, which helped provide an organic "in the classroom" feeling for students who were learning from home.

Our success as an institution remains a community effort. Without your support, we could not provide the ample opportunities and academic offerings to our students. Because of our robust community, SPX still stands strong today, developing the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, and creative qualities of Veritas men and women.

You will find enclosed here the names of everyone who made a difference at St. Pius X High School with a gift in our last fiscal year. These gifts allowed our students to learn safely on campus once again. They provided exceptional co-curricular opportunities for our children, allowing them to sing, play instruments, challenge themselves in sports, and perform on stage. These gifts have allowed current and future generations of Panthers to explore who they are, and who they are meant to be.

As Board Chair, as an SPX alumna, and as a one-day future parent, I thank each and every one of you who gave in support of our beloved school. Your support is deeply treasured, and I look forward to the great things that will come as a result of our unity.
