On October 19, 2022, we honored twelve students who have earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These individuals are amongst the 62,000 students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs! These students were treated to a special reception prior to liturgy and recognized following the service in the school

National African American Recognition Award recipients: Oluyemisi Bolarin ‘23, Vincent Doucet ‘23, Victoria Hunter ‘23, Ethan White ‘23. National Hispanic Recognition Award recipients: James Avant Jr ‘23, Olivia Martinez ‘23, Nicolas Juge Aires ‘24, Juan Pablo Contreras ‘24, Adrian Narvaez ‘24, Brian Ortiz ‘24, Giselle Prat ‘24, Nicole Rojas ‘24.

Stephanie Birkelbach ‘23 was selected as a National Merit Semi Finalist. In the annual National Merit Scholarship Program, about 50,000 academically talented high school students are honored, but only some 16,000 of them are named Semifinalists. Stephanie Birkelbach is among the top 1 percent of high school students who entered the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit School Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) during her junior year.

Update: in Spring 2023, Stephanie Birkelbach ‘23 was named a National Merit Finalist!
