Concept note Banaras, a musical city. One can feel the rhythms and melody in everything around. From sunrise to sunset, the ghats are crowded but behind the noise there are soul stirring hymns and mantras, chants of sadhus, Sitara being tuned, tablas mastered, nuances of ragas discussed and gharanas practiced. There is an offering of art being made to God at every second step. Sitar, Tabla, harmonium, bansuri, pakhawaj form a part of Kashi's legacy left behind by maestros, resident of the ghats. The ghats and gullies are the very heart of Banaras Gharana where it's was founded, it's greatest musician families thrived, where they created the greatest compositions and where the Guru - Shishya parampara is still alive. The Ghats are privy to this knowledge and have stood there since the beginning. Witnessing the amalgamation of the euphony of moving water with the rhythm of the Ghats. The experience is magical. We give you the sense of this experience. To be a part of this musical world and feel it's rhythm as you play the instruments.
