Christmas Recipe: Eggnog Cheesecake

EGGNOG CHEESECAKE

I first made this recipe a year ago, for my personal project. Honestly, it was the only part that went well, but it also ended up being one of my favourite recipes. It' s a recipe I got from my grandma, and it makes a really great dessert for the holidays. Hope you enjoy! - Noelle

Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs 2 tbsp. white sugar 3 tbsp. melted butter 3 8oz packages cream cheese 1 cup white sugar (separate) 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour 3/4 cup eggnog 2 large eggs 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar in a medium bowl Press the crumbs into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool Preheat oven (again) to 425 degrees In another bowl combine the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, flour and eggnog, and mix until smooth! Blend in eggs, nutmeg, and give or take a tsp. of rum Pour mixture into the cooled pan with the crust Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the oven heat to 250 degrees and bake for 45 minutes Remove from oven and immediately loosen the cake from the pan. Let it cool completely before removing it from the pan.
