Another Morning

This is a Mad Lib. Fill in the blanks to make your own [adjective] story!
It’s a [adjective] morning. You [verb] to school, carrying your freshly completed [school subject] homework in your hands. Suddenly, a [thing that moves] whips by, knocking you into the nearest [inconvenient noun]. Oh no!
After removing yourself from the [inconvenient noun], you open your backpack and [verb] in relief. At least your [noun] is okay. But unfortunately, your homework has disintegrated into [number] pieces!
You get to school at [time]. Hopefully you aren’t late! In your classroom, you see ________________ [teacher’s name] collecting yesterday’s homework—the homework you don’t have because the universe has conveniently destroyed it. You blurt out the first excuse that comes to mind: “I’m really sorry, but my [noun] ate my homework!”
[number] seconds pass in utter silence. [teacher’s name] looks at you [adverb ending in -ly]. “Don’t worry about your homework,” they say, “when things like this happen just remember, [song lyric].”
You are so [emotion], you don’t know how to respond “Thank you,” you say with [noun] in your eyes.
