This collection celebrates craftsmanship and represents design that is timeless and enduring. Creating a beautiful fabric is a complex and subtle process. The integrity of every element matters; not just the design and construction but also invisible details such as where the flax is grown, the precision of the dye selection, the skill and finesse of the spinning – all the way through to the weaving and finishing methods. The ethos at the heart of our work at Fox Linton is to create understated yet luxurious fabrics sourced from the best British traditions of making fine fabrics. Each stage of production is executed by experts in their field using natural yarns and employing processes that are as eco-friendly as possible and that respect a heritage that dates back centuries. Ever since my early career working in a mill in Northern Ireland I have had a passion for authenticity in design, so it has given me immense pleasure to work on this collection with so many gifted people and impeccable materials. We wanted to create fabrics that are tactile and as beautiful to feel as they are to look at. Please see the following pages as an invitation to come and view and touch the collection for yourself. SILK WOOL Silk Wool combines the soft sheen of silk on the face and matt wool on the reverse, creating softly differing colour and tone. This structure achieves an elegant drape and luxurious feel.
KINVARA Kinvara is 100% linen, subtly coloured and of classic quality. It has a beautiful weight and soft sheen, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapes.
ARRANMORE Arranmore is a bold directional twill weave in 100% linen, making this versatile fabric both smart and natural.
LAMBSWOOL Lambswool is woven in Yorkshire using traditional expertise to achieve a beautiful drape and feel. The yarn is 100% natural fibre, pleasantly tactile in both warm and cool conditions.
WAVE Wave is a luxurious velvet made of the finest kid mohair yarn which gives it a distinctive lustre and sleek contemporary look.
INISHMORE Inishmore is 100% linen in a classic herringbone weave. The collection comes in a palette of soft natural colouring and offers strength along with a beautiful drape.
