Cambridge
Dynamic mini-group short course
Confidence. Influence. Impact. The English World ClasSIX course is an accelerated learning programme designed to enhance your confidence, influence and impact in English. There is a maximum of 6 participants in the scenario-based morning, giving you an intensive learning experience and a high level of trainer interaction. The course builds confidence in a range of work life scenarios, including meetings and public speaking. Each day you have three sessions (Task knowledge, Active scenario, Knowledge for the professional community) that employ case studies and real world professional tasks. Through analysis and feedback of your performance you develop accuracy in how you use grammar, idioms and vocabulary. In the afternoon you either study in a larger group (maximum 12) building telephoning and conferencing skills, business writing and speaking with authority and influence using rapport, voice quality, posture and eye contact. Or you can choose English World ClasSIX Combination and replace the group lessons with 10 (ClasSIX 10) or 15 hours of one-to-one lessons (ClasSIX 15) in which you specialise in specific areas that you need particular help with.
Our core values shine through the course We aim for a learning environment which is:
Positive We believe that everyone can learn to use English effectively, and whatever your current ability we push you to be a more effective communicator. We have high expectations of you and believe you are able to achieve the goals you have, and more.
Inclusive Working in small groups helps to bring out your best and mirrors real world team-working. Role playing meetings and negotiations, giving presentations and joining social events provide opportunities for you to develop your spoken confidence and to convey your ideas with impact.
Results focused We help you to achieve your goals whether that is to gain personal confidence and eloquence, to win business internationally, or to be successful in international organisations and situations.
