Tastes of the archipelago region of creative cuisine The Åland Islands are a region to be recognised for its creative cuisine and new gastronomic ideas. The Åland dinner table is laid with origins in history and culture. The soil, the surroundings and the weather set the direction. Essential element is the people and the food artisans behind it all, those who ensure that the local gastronomy grows, changes and lives on. Freshly-caught fish from the sea, game, mushrooms and berries from the forest, and vegetables, grain, charcuteries and cheeses from local farmers and food artisans. Åland is a culinary destination with first-class local produce and restaurants. The tastes of the archipelago are an important essence of a successful meeting. Make sure you don’t miss the Åland Islands culinary experience.
