Structall is a manufacturer and distributor of SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) as well as a wide range of aluminum extrusion, windows, doors, and many other building supplies. Structall SIPs are used as floors, roofs, and structural walls - from patio covers and carports to screen rooms, room additions, residential home construction, and commercial building construction.

Why Buy from Structall?

• Custom Order Entry Program

All documents laser-printed with full item descriptions. Easy to understand - no cryptic acronyms.

• Emailed order acknowledgements

Customers know what they are getting at what price.

• Contact call the day before delivery

Always a customer approval on backorders. No surprises when truck arrives.

No other distributor takes the time and expense to protect the product like Structall.

Foam bumpers on both the male and female sides of panels. Heavy cardboard endcaps installed for added protection against damage and ease of stacking. All extrusion and pan orders are stretch wrapped, which helps prevent damage on our truck and yours.

Individually Labeled Orders

Each item is labeled by customer and job. You don’t have to sort through the material on multiple jobs.

Orders are delivered on OUR trucks by OUR drivers Loads are specially loaded and blocked at our facility and reblocked after every stop. This results in less damage and confusion with the paperwork.

• Extensive Marketing Support

Pre-Printed Brochures, Customized Flyers, Product Catalogs, Free Product Samples.

• The only supplier with six color options in panels, five colors in extrusion, and four colors for pans.

Structall Load & Scan Process

Once your order has been assigned with others in the region, it is added to a shipping manifest. The manifests are taken to the loading dock personnel who will begin the loading process.

The manifest is then scanned into the Dock Workstation where the contents of your order are broken down into individual units. Each unit is assigned a unique serial number and each order is assigned a color code.

Three piece colored tags that correspond to your order are printed with the individualized serial numbers, as well as extrusion and package numbers, then applied to the appropriate units.

As each unit is scanned, the Dock Workstation changes scanned units from “Unloaded” to “Loaded” status as they are loaded onto the truck.

After loading is completed, a Shipping Superviser will compare the shipping manifest to the Dock Workstation before the truck is allowed to leave.

What is Tuff-Kote?

Tuff- Kote is a dual-layer paint finish with a base color layer, and a clear protective top layer. The top coat is fused to the base coat during the baking cycle. The result is a paint finish that is more resistant to damage than standard paint finishes.

• Durable satin matte finish.

• More resistant to weather and alkalines.

• Requires less maintenance than other finishes.

• Resists scratching, marring, corrosion and fading.

• Protects against surface damage during installation process.

R-Value Factor

R-Value Chart

Thermal resistance is an index of material’s resistance to the flow of heat. It is the reciprocal of the K or C-value.

The higher the R-value, the better the resistance to the flow of heat (BTUs) and the better the insulation. R-values are usually reported for a stated thickness. R-values for different materials, or different thicknesses of the same material, may be added together to reach a total R-value for a system. R = or T K 1 C

Typical Physical Properties of EPS Used in SBS Panels

Wood Structural Panel R-Values

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

The thermal resistance, or R-value (in ft2 - hr - °F / BTU), of OSB panels is listed below. Thicker panels have more insulating value; therefore R-values increase with increasing panel thickness. These values are listed in Table 2 of the Structural Board Association’s “OSB in Wood Frame Construction,” (U.S. Edition 1996/97).

Plywood

The thermal resistance, or R-value (in ft2 - hr - °F / BTU), of plywood panels is listed below. Thicker panels have more insulating value; therefore R-values increase with increasing panel thickness. These values are listed in Chapter 25, Table 4 of the 2001 ASHRAE Handbook published by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

U-Value Factor

Overall coefficient of heat transmission, or the quantity which will flow through a specific building section composed of a number of materials one square foot in area during one hour when there is hot or cold side temperature difference 1° F.

THERMOPLASTIC CLAD PANELS

Thermoplastic has been used in products like auto grills and mirrors, garden furniture and outdoor signs because of its weatherability, durability, thermal stability, and scratch & impact resistance. Thermoplastic won’t crack, dent or tear like some products on the market. It’s both tough and rigid. It also has an excellent resistance to outdoor exposure, aging, stains, chemicals, and yellowing. It won’t sag or bow, even when exposed to high heat. In addition, the color runs completely through the sheet, reducing the appearance of abrasions.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Always use the cleaner according to the manufacturer’s directions. Use a soft, clean cloth to apply the cleaner. Apply the cleaner to the cloth. Clean only a small portion of the surface at one time. After cleaning, rinse off the surface as completely as possible.

For general cleaning the following can be used:

Ivory (soap and water solution)

Formula 409

Windex

Spic and Span

Scrubbing Bubble

Fantastik

Simple Green

Pine Sol.

For heavy cleaning, use the following, but remove immediately after use:

Soft Scrub (may slightly abrade surface)

Bug & Tar Remover

OOPS

DO NOT USE:

Acetone

Goof Off

Cleaners that contain esters, ethers, ketones, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, or Isopropanol (concentrations greater than 25%).

FEATURES & BENEFITS

WEATHERABILITY - Excellent resistance to outdoor exposure, aging and yellowing. Same material used in auto grills and mirrors, garden furniture, and outdoor signs.

DURABILITY - Great toughness and rigidity. Will not crack like FRP.

THERMALLY STABLE - Reduced sagging and bowing in high heat conditions.

SCRATCH RESISTANT - Color fast through the sheet. Will not show abrasion like aluminum.

IMPACT RESISTANT - Will not dent or tear like aluminum.

PERFECT FOR PETS & CHILDREN

Thermoplastic Panels are perfect as an insulated, impact resistant kickplate in screen and modular rooms. Use Thermoplastic panels when damage from pets and children are a concern. Couple with Vinyl windows for Modular Rooms and Pet Resistant Screen for Screen Rooms.

The Adjustable Top Cap Assembly provides a flexible method of attaching roof panels to modular room walls. Adjustable from 3/12 to 5/12 pitch, the assembly works well for both gabled and shed style roof systems. The adjustability eliminates the need to miter panels at the joint. Thermally broken, the extrusion assembly prevents the transmission of heat/ cold from the outside to the inside of the room.

Helps prevent water from entering wall header.

Boxed End Riser Flat Option

• Pans are boxed on one end to help prevent wind blown water from entering wall header.

• Patio cover can be enclosed and insulation can be retrofitted to unit at the time of construction or later. Adding insulation to other patio systems reduces head room under the cover, produces inconsistent temperatures, and requires bug plugs which constantly pop out of place.

• This aluminum roof system is very low maintenance, only requiring an occasional light-pressure wash to rinse off dirt and debris.

1. Install Wall Header

Santa Fe Cover Installation Guide

A. Select mounting area on wall. Snap a level chalkline along the wall to locate the bottom of the wall header. Remember, for proper drainage, the panels must be installed at a minimum 1/2” slope per foot of projection.

B. Cut wall header to length. Level extrusion and mark position.

C. Run two beads of caulking along the back surface of the box header where it will meet the existing building or fascia board. Extruded header is recommended for maximum strength.

D. Position the header against the existing building and secure into place using two #10 x 1-1/2” hex head screws every 12” on center. If attached to 1” fascia board, use two #10 x 2” hex head screws in place of #10 x 1-1/2” screws at all rafter tails. If attached to a masonry wall, the header should be fastened with one 1/4” diameter masonry anchor every 16” on center. If enough room, apply a heavy bead of caulking along the top of the header to insure a water tight seal.

2. Post Bracket Installation and Post Attachment

A. Posts should be plumb and bottom cut off if necessary to adjust the pitch of the panels for proper drainage and, at the same time, to adjust the header so that it is level from end to end. (Recommended roof pitch is 1/2” for each 1 foot of panel length.)

B. With the posts cut to length, plumb them again and mark the slab attachment. The anchors should be at least 4”away from the edge of the slab or expansion joint and 30” away from any crack. Two 3/8” holes should be drilled through the post brackets and corresponding holes 2-1/2” deep into the slab. Attach the brackets to the slab using the concrete anchors and hammering them into the concrete making sure not to damage the threads.

C. Next, fit each post onto its bracket and fasten with four #14 x 3/4” painted sheetmetal or self-drilling screws.

a. Drill 3/8” hole with the masonry bit at least 3” deep.

3. Install Beam

b. Clean hole by blowing out debris.

A. Set the 3x8 beam on top of the posts. Make sure the seam side is up and lines up with the wall hanger on the ledger board.

5. Install Snap-N-Lock™ Panels

Santa Fe Cover Installation Guide

A. Place the first panel into position with the female side facing the outward perimeter of the structure. To avoid scratches on the interior side you have two options:

1.) Roof panels can be lifted over the wall sections top side down, and then turned over when in position.

2.) Cardboard end caps or carpet pieces can be draped over the top channel, so that the panels don’t brush against the metal surface. Check the panel for proper depth in the header and square up to support walls.

B. Fasten panel to the top and bottom of the box header with #8 x 9/16” Tek screws 8” on center.

C. The front and side walls are fastened using a special #10 hex head sheetmetal screw. These should be placed 8” on center on the front wall and at least every 24” on the side walls. The sheetmetal screws should be used in conjunction with a 1/4” x 1-1/2” aluminum washer with neoprene backer. When going into wood framing a 1/4” x 6” lag can be substituted. Fasten the starter panel on the side wall and the outside corner only.

Note: The panel must be free on male edge to snap properly, and screws should not be placed within 4” of panel seam.

D. Run a bead of sealant/adhesive down the top channel of the male side in the sealant reservoir, making sure there are no air bubbles/ pockets. We recommend using Solar Seal 900.

E. Insert the second panel into the header in a level position with the starter panel, using proper handling techniques to avoid scratches.

F. Position panel. Bump panel together until it snaps, bumping from header to overhang. Panels should be snapped together fairly soon after caulking is applied to reservoir. Wipe down top seam of panel to smooth caulk.

G. Repeat with each new panel until finished. The last panel should be squared off on the male side prior to installing to accept valance. Then fasten remaining #10 screws or 1/4” bolts to final side wall and outside corner. (If panels need cleaned, use soap and water.)

H. After all roof panels are installed, run a bead of sealant where the top edge of the wall header meets the panel.

Leave the fastener closest to male side at front untightened so next panel will snap properly.

6. Install Fascia Trim with Drip Edge/ Receiver Gutter

You can trim the roof two ways:

1) Fascia Trim on all three sides, or

2) Receiver/Gutter in front and Valance on sides.

A. Cut front extrusion to exact width of roof plus 1/8”. Run a heavy bead of caulking along upper inside edge of extrusion.

B. Slip the extrusion over the end of the panels starting at one end and working the extrusion down the width of the roof. Application can be done from the roof or a ladder. A thin putty knife will facilitate application if the fit is tight.

C. Using #8 x 9/16” tek screws at 12” intervals, secure extrusion to the roof front.

D. Seal at all connections with Solar Seal 900 caulking.

E. Drill a weep hole on each end and at each roof panel seam (every 2 or 4 ft.) on the underside of drip edge.

7. Install Matching Valance (use w/receiving gutter) or Fascia Trim with Drip Edge

A. Both the valance and fascia trim fit to the outside of the front extrusion. At the end closest to existing structure, cut valance/fascia at appropriate angle to allow for roof slope At the opposite end, to allow for gutter or fascia trim, cut out the flanges 4-3/4”.

Drill a small weep hole on either end of extrusion and at roof panel seams on the underside of the drip edge.

8. Install Alumawood Trim

Note: This step is non-structural and may be modified.

A. Drill several 5/8” holes in one of the 2”x 6” Rafters and attach to the side fascia. This rafter should extend past the side fascia to the desired projection. Repeat for the other side.

B. Cut one of the 2”x 6” rafters so it fits snugly between the two side rafters. Attach to the Fascia Gutter.

C. Attach Rafter Brackets at 24” on center to the front of the front rafter. Use two #10 sheetmetal screws.

D. Attach Rafter Tails to the rafter brackets. Use four #10 sheetmetal screws.

9. Install Downspouts

A. Cut two 1” diameter holes in the bottom of the Gutter Fascia. This should be close to an end post.

B. Place the downspout flange over the hole and fasten with #8 x 1/2” sheetmetal screws.

C. Insert the downspout elbow into one end of the downspout tube and fasten from the sides with #8 x 1/2” sheetmetal screws.

D. Hold the downspout assembly in place to check for proper length and cut as required.

E. Slip the upper end of the downspout flange and fasten from the two sides with #8 x 1/2” sheetmetal screws.

F. Attach the downspout tube to the post with the strap. Fasten on two sides with #8 x 1/2” sheetmetal screws.

10. Final Sealing Procedures

Santa Fe Cover Installation Guide

A. Due to the advanced design of the Snap-NLock™ panel, it is almost impossible for the panel seams to leak. As in any aluminum roof structure, the most critical point is where the header meets the support wall. For best results counterflashing should be used. If structure has no drip edge, use a flexible flashing such as Flex-Seal.

B. To insure a water tight seam, caulk under edge of counterflashing that rests on roof and secure with a #8 x 1/2” screw at 6” intervals.

C. Use Solar Seal 900 to seal exposed screws and bolt heads. Make sure to completely cover the washers, because of the depression formed when tightening the panels down. Water can sit around the washers and create a problem. Apply caulking along all roof panel connections, outside along all wall module connections to existing structure and along outside edge of base channel.

Caulk and secure in front.

“L” shaped brakeform counterflashing tucked behind drip edge. Caulk and secure in front.

Optional Upgrade: Provide the homeowner a more long-term, low-maintenance solution to leaks, by also covering panel connections at header, fascia and gutter; and panel seams with Flex-Seal. The tape remains flexible, while moving with the varying metals of the panel and extrusion as they expand and contract. No fishmouths will form and the bond will remain unaffected. The aluminum backing provides superior UV protection. It also enables the tape to conform to irregular surfaces for a weathertight seal.

11. Final Steps After Roof Installation

A. Secure top channel and base channel to wall panels on interior and exterior. Use #8 x 9/16” tek screws every 16” on center, with two at edge of each module at mullion. If using the adjustable top cap, raise upper assembly until plumb with roof line and secure.

Sealing Tape

PEEL & SEAL® Tape

Peel & Seal® is the original, self-stick roll roofing specifically designed for low slope residential and commercial applications. Composed of a patented formula (consisting of laminated aluminized foil, highdensity polymer films and a thick layer of rubberized asphalt), Peel & Seal® provides a long lasting, durable, maintenance-free roofing surface.

From dormers, residential sunroom additions, “open” porches, and mobile home roofs, to industrial and agricultural buildings where low slope roofs are common place, Peel & Seal® is an excellent solution for these applications. The self-adhering, weatherproof, reflective surface not only forms a highly effective barrier to the elements, but also limits solar heating to help keep the temperature of building interiors significantly cooler.

Applying Peel & Seal® is easy. No tar, torches, mops, glues, tapes, or fasteners are required... a utility knife and hand roller are the only tools needed. Following preparation of the surface, simply peel off the release liner, unroll Peel & Seal® to the proper length.

Peel & Seal® is perfect for hundreds of uses ranging from full-roof applications to patching gutters and vent pipes. Fully pliable and providing a secure seal at edges, corners and over gaps, it is ideal for roof areas that are often difficult to waterproof, including locations where ducts, vents, chimneys, or air conditioning units either protrude through, or are roof mounted.

Peel & Seal® – the original, maintenance-free, energy efficient, economical, self-sealing roll roofing you can count on for any low slope/low pitch application and warranted by MFM for 10 full years!

Installation of Skylights

Prices Subject to Change Without Notice

Skylights should be centered in the width of the panel, within 1 ft. of the sides. At customer request, skylight openings can be pre-cut and framed at the factory (see Skylight Wrap).

When installing, surface should be clean and dry. Apply 4” DoubleBond™ tape on all sides of pre-framed opening. Start with the gutter side and cut so it extends 4” on either side of the opening. Make sure you roll the DoubleBond™ tape until flat. Apply either the left or right side next, finishing with the header end. All pieces should overlap the previous piece.

Carefully position skylight over opening and secure using #8 x 1/2” Tek screws 8” on center. Place White or Foil sealant tape over top edge of flange making sure screws are covered. Apply gutter end first, then sides, and finally the header end, making sure all pieces overlap the previous piece.

Skylight Wrap for strengthening the skylight opening.

Extrusion sizes available in 3”, 4”, and 6” depths.

This skylight is recommended for roof pitches 0:12 to 68:12.

Cleaning Aluminum Extrusion

Aluminum extrusion, such as gutters, can develop unsightly dark streaks. The streaks won’t clean off using soap and water. They are caused by algae, dirt, and other particles washing onto the extrusion and electrostatically bonding to the anodized metal. This phenomena is also known as “tiger striping” or “zebra striping”.

Structall recommends the use of specialized cleaners to remove the streaks:

• F-13 Gutter Grenade

• Gutter Zap

• Citrus Gutter Cleaner and House Wash

• Mean Green

• Spray Power

• Simple Cherry

• Citri Kleen

• Gutter Shock

• Purple Power

• Simple Green Gutter Clean

You will need a scrub brush with an extension pole as well as a water hose with standard sprayer. A pressure washer can be used if available.

*Use as directed.* Some of the listed cleaners contain butyl and other chemicals that can damage the paint on the extrusion as well as anything that the cleaner may come in contact with. Dilute the cleaner as prescribed and use appropriate brushes and protective gear.

Technical Bulletin Dark Colors and Thermal Bowing

Structall recommends panels with Adobe and Bronze skins be used as the bottom skin (install down) or in the room-side position. White is the best color to reflect the rays of the sun, reducing heat buildup and related expansion problems inherent with all aluminum products. Structall’s White coated panel skins are certified by ENERGY STAR® to meet or exceed their requirements for Solar Reflectance per ASTM C1549 and Emittance per ASTM C1371.

Accelerated thermal bowing can occur if a Adobe or Bronze panel skin is exposed to the sun. On stress skin panels such as ours, this effect is caused by the dark coated exterior absorbing heat rather than reflecting it, while the interior-facing skin of the panel stays cool. The overheated exterior-facing skin expands, causing the panel to bow and possibly delaminate.

With that in mind, do not store or stack Adobe or Bronze panel skins facing the sun.

A white, weatherproof coating over the dark top skin or appropriately installed shingles can greatly reduce, if not eliminate, thermal bowing.

*Thermal bowing does not represent a manufacturing defect. Any damage incurred through incorrect storage or installation will void the warranty.

Technical Bulletin Panels Longer than 32ft

Structall does not suggest or endorse the manufacture of the Snap-N-Lock™ Panel in lengths greater than 25ft. Natural, heat related, expansion of the panel skins can cause buckling and cracking at the mid point fastener lines.

Panels greater than 32ft. are not covered by Structall’s Limited Warranty.

Technical Bulletin Painting Rigiwall Panels

For those who wish to paint Rigiwall Panels, the manufacturer suggests using any paint made for vinyl.

Sherwin Williams Durations paints or any solvent-based paint work well. No primer is required using these paints.

Follow the paint manufacturer’s directions for application.

Thoroughly clean the panels prior to painting. Sales: 877-314-2509 FAX: 813-814-0018 info@structall.com

Technical Bulletin Panel Noise

Structural insulated panels are not sound proof. Sounds will pass through SIPs and sometimes will be amplified. For instance, a typical steel SIP home will have the internal noise level of a typical brick home. However, room additions that are “unfinished” and do not employ furring + drywall or other sound deadening materials and techniques will have a higher internal noise level than that of a typical home interior. Taps and knocks on the outside of an “unfinished” SIP structure will be audible.

Like all building materials, temperature has an effect on structural insulated panels. SIPs construction will expand and contract as the temperature warms and cools. During rapid temperature changes, SIP construction may produce popping sounds if roof joints and beams have not been installed properly. If the structure is “unfinished”, the sounds can be that much more noticeable.

Use these techniques to reduce sound levels within a SIP structure. It is important to lessen the effect of heat on the structure, create buffers between joints, and airspace between the exterior walls and interior finish.

1. Apply a vibration absorbing underlayment directly to roof panels before installing roof finish.

2. Use glue or gasket material at the tops of beams and walls.

3. Furring interior walls with sound deadening material or furring strips before installation of drywall.

4. Use a back ventilated roof finish.

Technical Bulletin

Application of Elastomeric Roof Coating

For those who wish to apply Elastomeric Roof Coating to a panel roof, Structall suggests using an acrylic coating.

Follow the coating manufacturer’s directions on when and how to apply their coating to achieve best adhesion, including their directions for cleaning the roof.

The most important step is to thoroughly clean the roof using an appropriate roof cleaning solution and a scrub brush. The panels must be clear of any dirt, debris, mildew, and chalk.

Technical Bulletin

Rust Filings on Steel Panel Skins

Structall’s Steel Snap-N-Lock™ Panel skins are cut using a shear press. This method results in a clean cut without generating metal chips that can cause rust blemishes on the panel paint finish.

Drilling, cutting, and grinding a steel panel at the jobsite will produce metal filings that will magnetically adhere to the skin of the panel. If these shavings are not removed from the fascia of the panel, the small bits of metal will corrode and blemish the finish. The result is only cosmetic and will not affect the longevity of the panel. However, to avoid the inevitable blemishes to the paint finish caused by the rusting filings, wipe off the panel with a cloth or softbristled brush immediately after modifying the panel.

Wipe off all steel panels at a jobsite (including unmodified panels) before installation to remove any debris that may have blown onto the panels.

If the metal filings were not removed before installation and speckles of rust begin to show on the panels, use cleaning products such as Spic and Span® or Soft Scrub® along with a nylon scrubbing pad and water to clean off the rust filings. The paint finish will likely be stained by the rust but the cleaning will have removed the source of the discoloration.

Fan Beam Installation Guide

For support capacity and fastener information, refer to our Fan Beam Support Details prepared by Engineering Express. The details can be found at structall.com under ‘Engineering’ (FBC or IBC Engineering). Sealed copies of the details can be purchased directly from Engineering Express.

www.engineeringexpress.com/product/structall-fan-beam-support-details-23-69357/

Install an electrical box to attach the fan.

The panel should be prepped with two holes prior to installation (3-1/2” hole through panel skin and 1/2” foam to fan beam, then 1-1/2” hole through one side of fan beam).

Use a local code approved pancake box. Attach to fan beam and feed wire through. Finish with a local code approved Romex connector and wire nuts.

There are various grommets and pancake electrical boxes sold at Lowe’s and Home Depot that serve to protect the wiring exiting the fan beam. Once installed, the electrical box assembly effectively protects the wiring exiting the panel’s fan beam.

Fans are typically boxed with long screws for fastening to an electrical box. You may need to cut them short or use shorter screws to attach the fan securely.

*Adhere to local code when installing ceiling fans. This guide does not supersede local code.

Technical Bulletin Expanding Foam

During construction, it is possible to have gaps between panels or damaged foam. You can use expanding foam to seal the offending voids.

Structall tested several off-the-shelf expanding foam products:

• Great Stuff Gaps & Cracks

• Great Stuff Window & Door - Insulating

• Great Stuff Window & Door

• Loctite Tite Foam Gaps & Cracks

• Loctite Tite Foam Window & Door

We observed that the expanding foams did not react with nor melt the EPS foam used in our panels.

The Great Stuff products were the most user-friendly.

We recommend securing the panels in place prior to applying the expanding foam. Securing the panels first eliminates the possibility of the expanding foam pushing panels or other components out of alignment.

If you intend to use the expanding foam to seal a butt joint between panels, we recommend using Great Stuff Gaps & Cracks since it does not expand as dramatically and will not push the panels away from each other.

Expanding foam is easily trimmed with a serrated blade after fully curing.

We DO NOT recommend the use of “large gap” expanding foam products.

*Follow application directions provided by the manufacturer.*

Limited Warranty Oriented Strand Board Clad Panel Products

STRUCTALL BUILDING SYSTEMS, INC. warrants to the Purchaser that Structall’s oriented strand board clad panel products will not delaminate as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship for the life of the structure in which they are installed. In the event of a valid claim, Structall will provide replacement panels.

Exclusion of Certain Warranties

This warranty does not cover damage by willful abuse, normal weathering, exposure to industrial pollution, salt spray or chemical atmosphere, damage by physical abuse, abrasion, impact or other force, or an act of nature, such as fire, lightning, windstorms, hailstorms or causes beyond Structall Building Systems, Inc.’s control.

This warranty does not cover use of the product in applications beyond the design limits as spelled out in the Structall engineering publications. Installation not in strict compliance with the Structall installation instructions and procedures shall also void the warranty.

Oriented strand board is a wood composite product that is susceptible to damage from the elements. Panels should be stored in a dry environment and should not be exposed to rain and sun for extended periods of time. The oriented strand board will accept a reasonable amount of construction related exposure and may exhibit some surface flaking or scaling as a result. This condition is anticipated and does not reflect a defect of the panels. The panels are structural elements and are not designed to function as the primary interior or exterior surfaces. Structall recommends that in the final application, both surfaces be covered by an appropriate finish material.

This warranty does not cover infestation by insects, rodents or other pests. As with any type of construction, an appropriate pest control program should be instituted and maintained.

Limitation of Remedies

The Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for a valid claim against this warranty shall be for the replacement, without charge to the purchaser, of the Structall panels pursuant to the terms of the warranty. The obligation of Structall Building Systems, Inc. to replace the defective products shall not include the removal, dismantling, or reinstallation of any such products. Furthermore, the Purchaser agrees that no other remedy other than that prescribed above shall be available to the Purchaser or other aligned parties making a claim. This warranty shall not be assignable by Purchaser.
