ZHUHAI SCIENCE INNOVATION CENTER COMPETITION Zhuhai, China Time: Site Area: GFA: Program: Building height: Scope of service:

March 2017 25,292m 86,230sm Office, hotel and retail Less than 100m Concept Design Competition

Zhuhai’s famous mudfishing industry is the source of inspiration for this project. Working closely with the directer of the firm, I provided interations of the massing to fit a narrative unique to Zhuhai’s culture. Fortunately, I was able to develop the massing further and eventually lead the design package. I am very proud to say that we came a close second place in this design competition.

October 2016 30,000sm 6,000sm Sales Suite 24m Concept Design

The idea of this building is to lift a viewing platform 12m above the highest elevation in the parcel to maximize visibility of the sales center from the streets, while also attracting potiential buyers view their future homes from a beautiful vantage point. This building represents strength and fortitude. The four concrete legs of the building support its steel frame body, liberating the upper ground level for the public to use. The golden portal creates an axis toward the proposed sculpture garden that is the future site of four residential towers.

Less than 400m Architecture service from concept to the end of the construction

The Financial Northtown is a master plan in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The project was separated into three districts. and I was fortunate to model and develop District 1 (D1) along side the design director of the office. I provided design options for towers, and helped develop the massing planning for the south parcel. The entire workflow is completed in Rhinoceros and AutoCAD. With such a large body of work, I decided to highlight a few office towers and bridges I had the pleasure of modelling and developing.
