LOTS OF VARIETY IN SCHLICK 2000

The Schlick 2000 hiking centre is worth a visit for its exceptional nature and impressive distant views alone. The continuous network of adventure trails from the top station to the valley ensures fun and entertainment for the whole family.

At the Schlick 2000 Hiking Centre in Fulpmes, the sky is the limit. Thanks to numerous routes in all levels of difficulty, the high valley above Fulpmes and Telfes is a unique hiking paradise. The tour starts at the Kreuzjoch top station at 2,100 m altitude. With the impressive backdrop of the Kalkkögel mountains, the short panoramic trail, which is accessible for families and senior citizens, leads to the “StubaiBlick” viewing platform where you can experience fabulous perspectives.

On the family-friendly nature trail to the Schlicker Alm, you embark on an interactive journey through nature. Then you walk across the Abendweide to the panoramic lake and then downhill along the “Scheibenweg” (Disc Trail). The route name reveals its special feature, which attracts not only children. Even adults are allowed to insert a wooden disc into a gutter running along the side of the path and run after it as it rolls downhill. The crowning glory of an exciting day of hiking is the tree house trail. Seven different tree houses along the way hide numerous highlights with a rope slide, a suspension bridge and a treasure hunt.

Sunrise Trips

And if that’s not enough, you can look forward to something very special in August: a sunrise trip. Every Saturday, the Schlick 2000 cable car takes early risers up to over 2,000 metres, from where they can enjoy a fascinating natural spectacle of the sunrise and a panoramic view of the mountains. The small breakfast in the Panorama Restaurant Kreuzjoch, the yoga sun salutation on the restaurant terrace or a sunrise tandem flight, which can be booked, also provide that certain something extra.
