The Association of Polish Graphic Designers was established in 2004 on the initiative of a group of Warsaw based designers. The idea of the Association has always been: defending the creative independence, building professional standards and caring for the prestige of the designer profession. We promote good practices, speaking on ethical issues in design, taking pro-social initiatives. We actively participate in the global discussion on functional aspects of graphic design. Over the last few years, we co-organized, among others, a competition for a logo of the City Transport in Warsaw and a contest for development of the city information system for the City of Krakow. We have been proud partners of such events as International Poster Biennale, Element Talks, GrafKonf and many others. Our social media accounts and website are visited by thousands of users every month.
