Welcome to Studio 210 this guide was created to help answer any questions that you may have or provide any need to know information during your time here. If you have any questions that are not answered here you may contact our studio team. Call or text us at 732-352-3636 Email the studio at Studio210NJ@gmail.com Conduct This is a shared studio and we pride our selves on maintaining a professional environment. You will be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying you while in studio. A studio representative may at our discretion, be present at any or all times during your time in studio. If the representative observes or otherwise becomes aware of dangerous, pornographic, illegal or negligent practices or activities, the studio reserves the right to stop the shoot and may require you and your party to correct the issue or leave immediately. In such case no refund will be given for unused time. Studio rules We reserve the right to make changes to the Studio rules as needed • Shooting in designated inside studio areas only, no shooting in common areas, parking lots, or on adjacent buildings • No smoking whatsoever is allowed in the building or within 15ft of any building entrance. • No alcoholic beverages, non-prescribed or illegal drugs. • Music is to be kept at reasonable level and not contain vulgar or offensive lyrics audible outside the studio. • No one will be admitted who is drunk or under the influence of illegal substances. • No pets allowed without prior consent of a studio representative. • Maximum of six people in Renter’s party. Ask ahead if you have a larger group. • No classes, seminars, workshops, meet up events, or subletting your rental period with out prior approval from studio management • Exterior building doors may not be propped or held open unattended. • Renters are not to allow access to studio or building to people not in their group. • Studio property is not to be removed from studio with out prior approval. • Doors and halls are not to be blocked for any reason. • In the event of fire alarm activation everyone must immediately exit the building, See the emergency section (Time lost can be added to the end of agreed time period at no additional fee.) Cleaning and trash When you leave the studio and all contents, equipment and furniture should be in the same condition and location as they were when you arrived. Please remove and replace any trash bags in cans if full or if something will start to smell if left behind. We have a dumpster behind the building to dispose of trash bags. And extra trash bags and cleaning supplies are located in the cabinet with the microwave. All items brought to the studio are to be removed unless other arrangements have been made. Items left after 5 days will be assumed abandoned and may be discarded or kept by the studio, you will not be eligible for compensation for these abandoned items. However we are not responsible for any items left at the studio if you forget something please contact us immediately to arrange pick up. If you fail to return the studio to the condition you found it we may charge a minimum a $50 cleaning fee Damage You shall be solely responsible for any damage to our property or equipment that occurs during the time or when you occupy the studio. You shall report any damage to studio management immediately. You agree to pay reasonable fees for repair costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition. You agree to pay for damage to the studio including spills, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, fixtures or painted surfaces.
Fire, Medical, and Police Emergencies Fire R – Remove people from danger A – Activate alarm and call 911 C – Confine if fire is in a room close door E – Evacuate or Extinguish if safe there are fire extinguishers in the hall Fire Alarm Activation In the event the fire alarms activate everyone is to evacuate and not return until the Rahway Fire Department authorizes reentry. Evacuation should be by the quickest safest method possible if using the front door the members of your group should gather in front of the Masonic Temple next door. If using the rear door and it is unsafe to move to the front of the Temple you should wait by the telephone pole behind the building. The person responsible for the studio should immediately call 911 and provide the dispatcher with Address Conditions Evacuation status

After the fire department has been called call Russ at 732-352-3636 if no immediate answer sent text message with details. Fire Alarm Activation (Accidental) If something happens where you accidentally activate the fire alarm system. Notify the other business on our floor that the alarm system was accidentally activated and no true emergency exists. After this has been completed call Russ at 732-352-3636 if no immediate answer sent text message. He will contact you with instructions to reset the alarm system. Medical Emergencies Minor Injuries There is a first aid kit located in the black cabinet under the microwave and a second in the staff closet. If first aid supplies are used let studio staff know so they can be replaced. Life threatening emergencies or if someone is requesting an ambulance call 911 Our address is 1544 Irving Street Rahway Suite 210 Nature of illness or injury the dispatcher will ask questions while sending help, they may also provide instructions to assist prior to the arrival of emergency medical services. Send someone to open the front door of building, if alone prop door open so emergency responders can access the building As soon as possible contact Russ at 732-352-3636 if no immediate answer sent text message. Police Emergencies If you believe an emergency exists call the police at 911. When it is safe contact Russ at 732-352-3636 if no immediate answer sent text message. Questions regarding emergencies? Door bell and buzzer When the bell is ringing press the talk button on the bottom of the intercom, you will be able to speak to speak to the person ringing the bell. To unlock the front door in lobby press the button with the key icon. Pressing the talk button will terminate the call. Studio doors To unlock the studio doors enter the code provided to you by the studio representative. To lock the studio doors simply press the button with the pad lock on it, this is located on the lower left corner of the keypad. Before leaving please insure both doors are locked. Thermostat The studio's thermostat is located outside the side door. If you need to adjust the temperature use the arrows to move the temperature up or down, to lock in the setting press the hold button. When your shoot is complete and your leaving press the run button. Remote triggers The section with the hot shoe will connect to the studio strobe with a pc cord. If the cord is loose you can secure it with a piece of electrical tape. The other side will sit in your camera's hot shoe. Make sure the switches on the transmitter and receiver match. If they are not working replace the batteries and double check the switches to insure they are in the same direction. The receivers also have an on off switch please be sure to turn them off when putting them back in the storage box. Loaner flashes We have a few manual loaner flashes are not adjustable, just turn on the power switch and affix to your hot shoe. The lens of the flash can move up 45 degrees to change the direction the light is traveling.

Batteries All of our devices contain rechargeable batteries please do not throw them away. Place dead batteries in the loaner f lash box in the spot labeled dead batteries. Alien Bees The lights power is adjusted by moving the slider on the back of the head. The modeling light is turned on and off by the first button on the left, the track button will adjust to modeling lights output to correlate with strobe power. If using the built in optical slave your flash must be in manual mode. Please make sure to unplug the strobes when you complete the shoot. Smart TVs Turn on the TV press the smart button on the remote control, then click the Netfilx or Pandora app we have accounts for both. Sound bars and Radio These are all available to use with your bluetooth device without passcode Water Cooler The buttons are located on top of the machine, cool water is on the right side and hot on the left. Place your cup above the round hole on the over flow area. We have spare cups in the cabinet under the microwave. Keurig Place your cup under the spout, lift the chrome handle and place the small K-cup in the receptacle and lower the handle. Select either 4, 6, or 8 ounces. The large K-cups are for making pots of coffee, the carafe is kept in the area of the machine and microwave. K-cups are located in the draw under the machine, cups are along side the machine with sugar and creamer also located in this area. We have spare cups in the cabinet under the microwave. Length of use Your time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. Time includes set up and break-down. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the scheduled period. Do not arrive late - your time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. If the schedule is empty you may extend your time by updating the calendar. No prior drop-off and/or pick-up after completion of shoot, of equipment, props, etc. unless approved by studio. Google calendar Access to studio calendar may be given to members with read only access until member is established in the group. When placing your time on the calendar you may not move, alter, or delete any other entries. Your reserved time must include your arrival time, set up, clean up time, and any other time you will be occupying the studio. A read only version of the calendar is available for easy viewing at www.Studio210NJ.com Tentative bookings Lead the calendar entry with “TENTATIVE” This will place a temporary hold on that time if you would like to use time someone else has labeled as tentative contact a studio manager, they will contact the tentative booking member to see if that time can be released. Any schedule booking labeled tentative will be considered open and available after 3 days. Partial booking If you need a section of the studio and do not mind if another person is using another area. Lead the calendar entry with “Partial” and the area you plan to use. If you plan to use another area contact a studio manager at create use another area of the studio. Cancellations Once you place your booking on the calendar your time is confirmed. Any cancellations of confirmed bookings will result in the following charges: 72 hours or more: A confirmed booking that is canceled more than 72 hours prior to the booking date and time will incur no charges. 24 to 72 hours: Cancellations made from 24 - 48 hours prior to the booking date and time will be charged 50% of scheduled time Less than 24 hours : Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the booking date and time will be charged the full amount of scheduled time
Scheduling your studio time with our Google calendar with Google calendar's desktop view You will be able to schedule your time period in any area with out anything previously scheduled. It is important to remember that the time you schedule includes your set up and clean up times. To set up your time start by clicking the “Create” button on the calendar menu.
The next screen you will see is this one, below we will cover that you will need to enter to create your reservation. In the field showing untitled event you will enter, your name, If you are willing enter who or what you plan to shoot after your name. This entry should look like this “My Name – My Model/Theme”

Liability The studio or owner is not liable for acts out of its control that affect your shoot, such as building, your equipment failures, power outages, weather, acts of God or emergencies. Use of our studio is at your risk, our equipment is available as a courtesy. You agree that the studio and owner will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, injury or loss to your, your party or possessions while on the premises. You agree to hold harmless and indemnifies the studio and its owners, agents, representatives, associates, officers, employees, guests and tenants against any suit, claim, loss, accident, judgment, fine, injury or damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. This indemnification shall continue in full force and effect during and after the term of the rental for such causes arising during the term of the rental. You are solely responsible for any legal infractions you or members of your party make during your times of your shoot, be they in our studio or elsewhere in building. This includes parking tickets, all other violation or citations, legal action resulting from the conduct of the shoot, taken at whatever time. You agree to hold harmless Studio 210, its owner, agents, representatives, and contractors acting on its behalf for any loss, accident, or injury to yourself or anyone who accompanies Renter while on our premises. You are solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying you while on our premises. you are solely responsible for the safety and well-being of any models. you understands that if the a studio representative observes dangerous, pornographic, or negligent practices or activities are being engaged we reserve the right to stop the shoot and require you and your party to correct the issue or leave immediately. . You are solely responsible for verifying that all models employed during your usage period are of legal age for the activities they are to be engaged in. We have no responsibility to determine or verify the age of participants in the your activities but we reserve the right to end those activities if it becomes aware that legal age violations are ongoing. We do reserve the right to inspect the proof of age of anyone the studio.
