Adagio by Daniel libeskind The ADAGIO Sofa brings together a synergy of architectural form and everyday comfort. ADAGIO means slow or at ease. The canted arms and back re-imagine the rigid structure of a traditional sofa creating more comfortable movement and a dynamic form. The materials and colors are inspired by classic Italian design. “The design celebrates the subtle details of the everyday form and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship,” said architect and designer Daniel Libeskind. The upholstered back is high and inclined, while the single soft cushion is trapezoidal in form, combined with a chaise longue element that also has an asymmetrical form. The armrests are padded or in painted metal. Unusual angles and thicknesses, with no orthogonal joints, because the harmony comes from the balanced composition of the volumes.
Agave by Antonio Citterio This elegant armchair with a structure in solid wood and soft padding for the seat and back evokes the image of the 1940s. The slender curved wood of the armrests becomes a modern reinterpretation of the forms of memory. The back, enhanced by a natural woven wicker pattern, suggesting the texture of Vienna straw, adds a precious retro touch. A discreet, warm object, right at home in any space. The AGAVE armchair is joined by a new bergère with a high upholstered back, providing great comfort for the shoulders and head. The distinctive feature of this collection is the special handwoven wicker back, along with the slender curve of the armrests. Born in 1975, Penta marked out immediately in the furnishing market for the originality of its proposal: production and sale of basic complements to decorate the house.
