SOUND & SPEEDY! Sound and speedy son of G1 Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner and prominent sire Speightstown (revealing himself as a sire of sires). Sold for $800,000 at 3, the second highest-priced horse at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton summer horses of racing age sale. At 3, broke his maiden in debut, scoring by 2Ÿ lengths in a six-furlong contest at Belmont Park. He subsequently posted a gutsy head victory in an allowance race at the same track. Scored impressive victories in allowance contests at Saratoga and Keeneland at 4 and 5. Still running sound at 7, was runner-up in the G3 Los Angeles Stakes at Santa Anita Park. ABOUT THE OWNERS A U.S. Army veteran, Glenn became involved in the Thoroughbred business by hot walking horses at Liberty Bell racetrack in 1969. Over the years, he has also served as a racetrack assistant starter, exercise rider and a jockey’s agent at several tracks across the Eastern seaboard. Glenn additionally trained horses while based at Penn National for around 10 years. A former member of the Lancaster Polo team, Brok also previously owned a horse carriage business with his wife, Becky. Becky started in the horse industry by riding show horses and galloping racehorses at Eastern circuit tracks. She currently handles all the breeding and foaling operations at Diamond B. Becky and her daughter, Samantha Potts, are also currently retraining an off-track Thoroughbred for the Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover.


Diamond B Farm’s state-of-the-art, 100-acre facility and ample amenities allow for proper breeding, foaling mares, and the sales preparation of weanlings and yearlings. Further capabilities offered by the Broks are racehorse rehabilitation, layups and bloodstock services. With decades of experience between them, the Broks offer hands-on involvement in the daily care of their horses. They employ a well-trained team of personnel who share their vision for providing individualized attention to each of their equine residents.
