OPENING NOTE
he diversity of nature intrigues me during my teenage years. I always wanted to know more and explore places that are not visible to the eyes. 'A kid that wanders' I knew that's a perfect name for me then. As time kicks on, reality set in, so as religion and needless experiences. I was born in a mission house in Christ Apostolic Church in the mid-80s and that automatically qualified me to be a Christian. I grew up learning the Lord's way like every other child born to a Christian Family but there was one thing I knew within me that a day will come I will have to speak for something mighty, vast than the nature itself. Then I realize I was made to put pen to paper and also use that explicitly for God alone. After wandering around circular field, tugged in between thorns and thistle to carve a niche with my own knowledge as a writer, guitarist and a graphic artist. I failed, I can buoyantly tell you this. I wouldn't want to bore you with a needless epistle but for the story of my life to be completed i had to start listening to what Holy Spirit want me to 4 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017

After so much thought on who should grace this maiden edition cover, the G.S team finally resolved their thinking and also came into conclusion with the help of the HolySpirit, by letting him choose the required person to grace the front page of of Gospel Saints. Kenny Kore is such an amazing minister, in this interview I saw a man in an high enclave of the HolySpirit, someone who is in concord with the word of God not just seeing music as a means of livelihood or a survival kit for this crazy jungle world. To let you know we didn’t chose what we wanted Holy Spirit picked gave the instruction, and we know you will enjoy every bit of this interview because the man Holy Spirit chose has spoken and also spits fire to the things that matters and are also relative to the christendom.
enny Kore is no long a stranger in the industry, can you please tell us more about you? I am Kehinde Olumide Akinbode, also known as Kenny K'ore. K'ore is from the Yoruba word; Kuorire, which means Congratulations. The name speaks prophetically over my life; that I am a person for whom people would rejoice with. Who Are Your Musical Influences? I've been into music from when I was a wee little boy, so my musical influence dates back decades, across different genres, and from gospel as well as secular influences But the most prominent among them is Don Moen, and Panam Percy Paul. I love them, not just for the musician they are, but for the Christian they are. Do You Have a Formal Music Education? No, I'm not formally educated in music, but I'm not without acquired knowledge, and training. In recent times, my band's keyboardist has been my teacher; without him I wouldn't have been able to play the piano as well as I do today. Would you consider yourself talented that you do not need to do a lot of rehearsal? No matter how talented one is, perfection is gotten from constant committed to exercising, and rehearsing on what one knows. How Do You Handle Mistakes During a Performance?
6 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017
There's not much one can do about mistakes during performances, other than not dwelling on them, and quickly make up for the lapses. But when the mistake is very conspicuous, one could stop the music all together, and restart. Who are your favourite gospel musicians? band? or lyricists? Nathaniel Bassey, Chinedu Gboof, Gloreeya, Mike Abdul, etc to name a few. Including foreign ones like Hillsong, etc Tell us something about your new album Burned brass? Burned Brass is inspired by the book of revelation 1:15, where John saw the feet of the glorified Christ, and it was as burnished brass. It speaks to me of the age long saga between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman, and how the serpent may bruise the heel of the seed of the woman, but it's head would eventually be crushed by the same. The end time believers represent the feet of Jesus Christ who is the seed of the woman. And I'm hoping to remind as many people as come in contact with the album about this reality. What is your candid opinion to circular musicians creeping into the Gospel music industry? Secular musicians are not my issue. It is the Christian leaders encouraging the trend that should be call to accountability. I have dared to speak to a few men of GOD that I have access to, and I've used social media platforms etc to decry the trend. But all in all, these are the signs of the end times, and those who are observing would begin to put their houses in other because very soon, we would see our Lord and Saviour WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

Can you describe Jerusalem in three words? Jerusalem is the city set on a Hill. Jerusalem is the city of GOD. Jerusalem is the true church of Christ. Is King Solomon the right
man to build the temple? why not King David? David had too much blood on his hands. So yes, because of this, GOD preferred Solomon to build the temple, who am I to say otherwise? Heresy was a controversial matter for much of the church's history, do you think it is more grounded in today’s churches? Heresy, just like you rightly said, has been with the church forever. And it is still alive and thriving today. But the gates of Hell shall not prevail. The Ecclesia yet marches on. What else do you think your fans should know? I want all my friends and well, including my enemies, if I have any, to prioritise READING THEIR BIBLE, MEDITATING, PRAYING, TRUSTING, AND OBEYING GOD. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 says - Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. everyone who believe in Jesus Christ? What is your take on this? The varied gifts of the Holy Spirit have never been in contention. It is the addendums, the man crafted gifts which has been white washed under the clout of spiritualism that causes recent bruhaha. E.g; comedy at devotional gatherings is a No, No.
You'll have to try very hard to twist the scriptures out of context to see any scriptural precedence whatsoever for comedy at a devotional service. There are many songs that carry a lot of speaking in tongues, unlike before. Do you think it is appropriate to listen to them as Christians?
9 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017
Speaking in tongues can serve as reminders of one of the Christian gifts, at least that's what I hope to achieve when I speak in tongues in my songs. I sure hope no one is offended by it. What else do you think we can learn from your new album and why did you chose the title, what should people look
forward to while listening? I hope people would very blessed listen to the New album Burned Brass. We finish the interview and you step outside the office and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do? I don't believe in lottery. WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

SINGLEWORD A single word is all she needs To conquer As simple sword in hands of a single but mighty warrior Don’t touch her tail Nor her saddened tales They are reasons why she burn To take her place in the midst of thrones Built for Queens And Mothers alike A single word is nothing But truth, Love, Affection Joy, Gladness, Shopping and Motherhood
Give her that word From your gently down Taking more Could you do them by three I love You I cherish you I adore You Say them, do also Make them the snippets Of your wholesomeness for the sake of procreation And the rest that is meant for future For in this, her single world becomes more with night cries of little ones And cots of beautiful ones Give her nothing but your love For it is the single word She crave in her youthfulness 19 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017

WHEN THE GREEN-EYED MONSTER SPEAKS: I have prayed and fasted; I have lived right with God. My walk has not been perfect but it’s near perfection. However, here I am sitting in the mansion built by James, my closest friend whose life and walk with God has been full of loopholes and I wonder in rage, envy and anger as I cannot but ask ‘why?’ Why does Alpha do things like this, why does he prosper the heathen who don’t regard him? I smiled occasionally and nodded as James spoke on about his flamboyant affluence and success. I fumed in anger, while nursing my envy for his success. It should be me in his place, I should be the one possessing such; I should be the one telling testimonies of my success and how God has been faithful, not James - a sinner, who never acknowledged God. He occasionally went to church and only when he was in need; he prayed only when he was in trouble. But I am a faithful worshiper, don’t I deserve a better treatment and reward? From within me I felt a burning fire, I wished James would wake up in the morning and all would be gone. I wished the tide would change and he would be at my mercy and help. I had resentment at seeing his success and I
desired to have everything that he possessed. The more I wished, the more the fire burnt within me, then I realized I had woken up the monster within, the green-eyed seed of evil. I left James’ house feeling sad, I knew I had sinned, wishing and praying for the downfall of another. I had been envious and sinned. The truth is, we are not all perfect. Sometimes, our flesh causes us to envy others and then we wish we had what’s theirs, then anger and resentment set in. However, we have a way out. This is the constant renewal of our minds, so our Spirit won’t be subjected to the lust and vices of the flesh. This thing called ‘Jealousy’ is in us all, with eyes as green as the rainforest, brewing the fire of envy and jealousy within us at every opportunity, but thank God it has been suppressed by the Spirit. I felt guilty within me, in a flash, I had sinned, I silently prayed for forgiveness as I walked home. James is successful, so what? My time is coming, the best I can do is pray for his salvation, believing God that my success will eventually come and my testimony will not only be a story but a medium of salvation and evangelism to others.

ith your permission, I will talk, dear family.
LUST
For if you give me a pencil and a sheet, I will without unnecessarily gab list a hundred - men and women who had sold their souls to the devil for tiny pellets of pleasures, vanity and beauty. At least I was one of them, I knew that. A sinner is anyone who sins, whether he is a pastor, a school teacher or a trader. No one can sin in Christ, only if you take a brief exit, step outside Christ to sin and beg your way back. I also know that. God will use no one unless He has weaned him from worldly pursuits, worldly affections. And I know that. All sinners, unprofitable to God will end up in hell. All these I knew, I still know, I know. BUT Some men say; in Egypt you shall have what you shall have, you shall see what you shall see you shall know what you shall know So I went down to Egypt, toil, have, see, and know. I will not deceive you dear readers and family. How I toil with excellence and gained the recognition of the amiable king of Egypt. He was the one who gave to me as a gift the little, little Hagar. Oh what a fascinating gift was she from the splendid amiable king of Egypt. With your permission dear readers, I came back home to God, and yes, with little, little Hagar. Oh in fain would I give you Hagar in description, for she was fairly pleasure and innocence mixed, clear eyes with dark passion. Pleasurable, appealing, but she was little and innocent. Little did I know then that Anything you take from `Egypt` will grow in your hands. As it grows, it will look ever more appealing. Be happy dear family for I will soon end this long tale. Yes, Hagar grew more appealing, a seducer of the first order. If you were me, or you were there, you would want more of her. To have her more, you need more money, to have more money, you spend more time striving, to have enough striving time, you’ll have to cut off all attachment and commitment including God. And soon you will be reduced to a lone voyager in dessert lands - and since no man know when he should die, you will soon land here, at the house across, the way where you will only be remembered by thy follies and deeds done. Shout readers, for this is the end. But do not fail to bear me witness if I tell the truth. Is that not how it always begin? A vain story that takes your soul down the path of untold pleasures to Egypt and there you are sure never to remain the same again, there where Hagar’s lust will draw you from God. Leave now! There, where truth and untruth struggle, leave! There, where the need for good and the doing good struggle, leave! _ by user76

he last days are here. Satan’s time is almost up. His strategies to deceive have multiplied and he works round the clock. Having tried so many avenues, he came into religion and began to multiply them. He is the founder of all religions, except the Christian faith. And he has also counterfeited Christianity to
the extent that only the Spirit of God in a discerning seeker knows the truth, which all the religions claim to be. He did not stop there. Presently, more than ever, there is a massive infiltration into the church of God by his agents. They can be found holding many different offices in Gospel churches. Each has a satanic assignment to unleash on the unsuspecting believers with whom they have fellowship and live communally. It takes the gift of discerning of spirits, intense praise and worship, serious prayers and fasting, a daily life of holiness and a good knowledge of God’s word to uncover and successfully deal with these. Job 1:6 says: Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord,
24 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017
and Satan came also among them. What do you think satan or his agents come to church for? To repent and serve God? No! To carry out their wicked plans to steal, kill and destroy (2 Pet 2:1-3). In the parable of the wheat (Matthew 13:24-30), after the good seed was sown, the enemy crept in while men slept and planted tares in their midst. satan’s purpose is to sow tares into your life. Tares are very much like wheat! His plan is to subtly steal the genuine faith you have in Christ, destroy your prayer life blind you from seeing into the spirit realm, shift your focus from heaven to earth, shift your gaze and dependence from Christ to man (maybe your pastor or leader) and replace those valuables with counterfeit.
Watch out. Jesus says you shall know them by their fruit. Time to wake up. Keep your secrets to yourself. Ask God to choose your friends for you. Ask God to open your eyes to see people in their true colours. And where moves are made on you to go satanic cults, open sin or flagrant disobedience to God, run for your life. Seek help from servants of God ACTION POINT Plead with God to arrest and expose every satanic agent in the church and to let their satanic mission meet with his fire.

THE LION, HIS PRIDE AND OUR KING. boldness of billion lights which far differs the undergone where he emerged from like a long train from the dark tunnel in New York. Everything resolved in my eyes, it's the planet were folded into one another and given to a boy of three to play. The name came out, hit me right in my eyes The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. According to Myles Munroe, i. One of his numerous sermon talks about the lion is not the fastest, smartest, or the biggest but he has got might, authority and attitude. His mind is strong, and it gives him authority.
ast is the measure that eludes our understanding but as Christians we are given the grace to know the mystery of Heaven because Christ lives in us. For few days, I stare at the picture of this lion in the dark. Thoughts rolled into my heads like folded mountains into one. I felt there are mysterious things evolving from the picture. This picture happens to be an extract from a theme on my phone. Then I zoomed my lens to capture every detail and unraveled any mystery that could possibly be logged therein. The more I categorically zoom, the less I could forgo the eyes, a million-black mercury crested into an uncontrollable stare. It was like a face coming from heaven in a house of dark eclipsing space. Another thought darted my mind, nonsensical! This is just a mere picture, if I had hearkened to the voice of that horrific agent, in an instant I would

have deleted the theme from my phone Two more days came like the other day, I realize there is a bold statement vividly written on the face of the defiant Lion. As a Christian, we all pray with the name of Jesus calling him everything from the spiritual connection of purity and not otherwise. I found out that the mystery is something beyond what human mental ability can phantom. The darkness behind really shows the word of Jesus in the book of Matthew which talks about vast darkness and little light. The background was not black to me anymore, it was dark and there was a thickness to that charcoal colour (which provides the word darkness) This gave me another rise to the reasoning in my brain. The mystery is coming to unfold in a pecking order. I found out that the Lion with pride evolved from darkness not roaring, nor grueling, stabled and prideful and in those eyes, were the
I know little details can be caught by many Christians, the trend of the world has not for once changed who a Lion is, prideful and stabled. He is the king of the jungle; a dead lion still carries the authority of the rest living for the species. The position is unnegotiable, yes, it is. Jesus is more than this Lion because everything God created is giving to the Son. He owns it all, he is the word that formed the Lion and his initial desire for Christian is to live prideful like a lion and subdue, have dominion over the land. This is His plan for us. On other hands, if you measure the distance of the lion from His evolvement, it really means Jesus Christ second coming is near. Another perspective bumped my conclusion of this article which says he will come like a thief in the night. Stay braced fellow Christians, and those that are yet to receive the King (Jesus Christ) confess your sins and denounce the world now, accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. A proverbial saying from the Holy book says, “A merry (joyful) heart doeth good like a medicine; but a broken spirit dries the bones”. When you have hope, you are happy and your body system is happy too; but when there is no hope, depression sets in and can lead to death.
ur health is the pivot upon which all success hangs; no one can pay enough for good health. Moreover it is not even available for sale anywhere. God’s plan for us as the elect is all round prosperity including our health, which is the sustaining strength of all other prosperity according to III John 1: 2. We can’t flourish and prosper in ill health (Ministry, career, financial, social, marital/relationship, academic); we must therefore take our health very serious so we can fulfill our destiny and purpose on earth. If you are very observant, you will notice that health status keep decreasing inspite of our level of financial prosperity and medical advancement. What is the level of occurrence of illnesses and diseases and the advent of the new ones in the last five to ten years compared to forty to fifty years ago? Higher/lower? Higher, of course. The reason for this change is because we are not following the manufacturer’s manual for our health.
God has also made adequate provision for our health since creation from what we eat. In this present age, we have so modernize, processed and industrialized everything that we are only contented eating based on sweetness, packaging, appearance and how full we are. We rarely care about the quality of what goes into our body. This is the reason for the proliferation of unexplainable sicknesses and diseases (physically, emotionally, mentally and psychologically). From research and experience, one of the causes/factors responsible for myriad of ill health is Nutrient-deficient factor: mood swing, Fatigue, ulcer, terminal diseases, excess weight gain, mental retardation, allergies and dermatological issues.
Proverbs 4:20 & 22 – “My Son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. For they are Life to those who find them and Health to all their flesh”. The word of God is the primary source of good health; it keeps

medicine/healing (Revelations 22.2b and Ezekiel 47:12b). This means that God has made adequate provisions for your healing and health i.e. if you do not need healing from any ailment, your food should make you whole and enjoy your health. Eat a lot of plant foods. Raw, fresh plant food are life giving food because the content in them are still living, still manufacturing food for a while until they run out of sources/content for production. You have to kill your animal protein sources before you can eat them, that way you have cut them off from being able to produce anything again in that system, you can only access what is already formed. No wonder that Greek Physician Hippocrates who is traditionally refer to as the father of medicine quoted “ let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food” To enjoy our health therefore, we must go back and nurture our health the nature’s way. Hippocrates also said that “Nature itself is the best Physician” so let’s treat our health the nature’s way. Eat lots of whole food and less of processed, sugary, canned and flavoured food. Chew the word of God like food and let your decisions be determined by it. You shall be whole in Jesus name.

COMFORTABLE ENCLAVES W W W . G O S P E L S A I N T S . C O M
ome in God's church have built for themselves comfortable enclaves, little fortresses, consisting of close-knit local groups and/or biological families that are defensively hunkered down, doing nothing to prepare to do a work for God. I personally had to give up my biological family some thirty years ago when it became clear that they would not coexist with my new beliefs. Many others had to do the same. Christ tells us in Matthew 10:37: "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me." There is no reason to understand this as metaphor. We should consider it literally. Upon close examination, much of so-called family closeness is an illusion. I am an attorney, and I have probated and seen probated wills in which money has been involved. It has been shocking to see what appeared to be kind, loving families almost literally devour each other when the parent or parents are gone, along with their stabilizing influence—or, more likely, iron grip. What ripped the families apart was money or other property. Family love and loyalty dissolved in an appallingly short time. While God certainly expects us to love and provide for our biological families (I Timothy 5:8), He makes it clear that we have another Family that will be with us through eternity, one we must now love and cherish too. In Luke 8:19-21, we pick up the story: Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. And it was told Him by some, who said, "Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You." But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it." These are things some people do not like to read, but our Savior Himself spoke them. Some in the church have found their comfort zones, not necessarily in Christ and the truth He brought, but in the reassuring closeness and familiarity of likeminded friends and relatives. Instead of being convicted of the doctrine, they simply follow their crowd. God, however, is not into "group think"; He is interested in each individual's life and decisions, apart from others. He says through Ezekiel, "Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness" (Ezekiel 14:14). In the New Testament, Paul writes: Now if anyone builds on this foundation [Jesus Christ] with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become manifest, because it will be revealed by fire [trials, see I Peter 1:6-7]; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. (I Corinthians 3:12-13) Those God has called, He does not want to lose; He is "not willing that any should perish" (II Peter 3:9). His goal of having us all in His Family is so important that He corrects and tests us individually to keep us "on track" (Hebrews 12:6; Proverbs 3:12). If we are among those who have been leaning on a group or our family, we should not be surprised when He puts us in a spot where we are forced to stand on our own and lean on Him. Hebrews 12:11 explains that "no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but grievous." "Grievous" does not seem to indicate God's

chastening will always be a light slap on the wrist! Our trials, designed to keep us headed for the Kingdom of God, can be traumatic, depending on how far off the path we have gone. The Product of Correction What does such "grievous" correction produce? The rest of the verse tells us: "Nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." In other words, the benefits of this correction far outweigh the suffering we endure during them. Lest we think we have been tested beyond what we deserve or we can handle, Peter tells us otherwise, "Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try [test, prove] you, as though some strange thing happened to you" (I Peter 4:12). Trials happen to us all and for good reason. He goes on to say, "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you" (I Peter 5:10). Paul echoes his fellow apostle in Hebrews 12:4: "You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin." If so many Christians in the past have suffered martyrdom for the truth, we have nothing to complain about regarding our trials. He also writes encouragingly in I Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." Now, here is a man who knows whereof he speaks! In II Corinthians 11:23-28, he chronicles his trials, and they should make us—with our so-called past suffering—feel quite blessed! Are they ministers of Christ?— I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness—besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. Sad to say, the apostle Paul did not always have the support of the churches when he needed it from them, but he survived all this to say that a crown was laid up for him (II Timothy 4:7-8). His race was run and won. As Christians, we need to look beyond our current trials and travails to the goal ahead of us, just as Paul did. By doing so, we will stop looking behind at the pain and disillusionment a previous organization may have inflicted on us. Why do bad things happen to "good" people, specifically those in the church? We are promised that, in God's plan, all things work together for good for those who are the called and who love God (Romans 8:28). This "all things" includes correction, sometimes even harsh correction. God will do whatever it takes—even the lengths He took with Job—to bring His chosen people to salvation. Through it all, God promises He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). That is a promise we can depend on!

Where do you see yourself in Five years? I see myself taking my music to all nations of the Earth, impacting lives through my music. What’s your greatest challenge so far as an artist? Challenges are inevitable in this journey but we have to keep forging ahead and not blame anyone for not helping us achieve our dreams and aspirations. evening on Sundays, for rehearsal or ministrations. I also had a group with two of my friends, SAMUEL ALIYU, and RUMIDE JEFFERY and all these summed up, shaped me and my music life. Then I moved on to Olabisi onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye, while studying, I joined RCF, Redeemed Christian Fellowship. RCF really shaped me, I joined the choir, SOLM, along the line I was made the worship team leader after which I was made the music director for the fellowship. From there I came into Lagos in 2010. Tosin BEE is a coinage from my surname. TOSIN is my name, ADEJUMOBI is my Surname, it was Mr June Jack, the first person that was going to manage me that gave me the name, by removing the "BI" from my surname and changed it to "BEE" that was after trying many names. Growing up, was fun. . I am from a beautiful family of six. Dad, Mum and three siblings. Though from a really humble background as ours was a beautiful family of course we had challenges here and there, but who doesn't have one ? My debut album launch is a day I won't forget in a hurry..
Music started with singing with some of my friends. . And we did that every evening in Ogbomoso and they were older than me, but they saw something I couldn't see then in myself. So every evening, we go round the neighborhood singing really loud, actually just to show off. We were really enjoying the attention then. After a while I moved on to Ilorin. I did my 'A' levels there at Kwara poly. I was always singing, at a point my friend Tayo advised I joined a church choir, I told him no way, because I was the shy type. In the long run I joined my church choir, then I joined GOLD HEART MISSION, and KINGDOM MINSTRELS FOR CHRIST, also LATTER HOUSE FAMILY. These were in her denominational choir, we meet in the

You know this is one of the best things that has happened to me. Mummy I love you so much. "MAMA DAA DAA". Of course another person I must talk about is Pastor and Pastor Mrs Charles Kpandei, My Very pastor. This man is my number one Fan. He believes so much in what God can do through me. The album title is "Testimony" and it was just my way of saying the album, is a summary of all God has done for me. It was my Testimony. Special thanks to Daddy and Mummy Odesola, Leke Adeboye, Kunle Ajayi, Mr Tosin Adewuyi, and everyone that made it happen. After my album was released.. I do Contemporary African Gospel music.. Gospel music is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of the African-American church. During the late 1800s, AfricanAmerican churches in the southern United States started fusing various styles of music into their worship services, including African-American spirituals, hymns, and sacred songs. By doing contemporary African Gospel music, it's built on cross-pollination with western popular music and genres of African popular music. I'm in the studio at the moment, working.. I should be releasing new songs soon. Followed by a tour of cities in and out of Nigeria. Also so far I have worked with Nosa, Efe Nathan, Tosin Martins, Wole Oni, Masterkraft, Big Bolaji, Laolu Gbenjo, the list is long. Of course looking forward to working with quite a number of people, lets keep it sealed for now. All gospel acts preach the same message.. So there is no room for comparison, but know one thing, I enjoy so much grace. It amplifies the little I do that I wonder sometimes did I actually do this? Also the spirit of excellence in my approach and method of delivery is another thing. In Five years, I believe I must have taken a good number of Nations of the world for God, and I believe Gospel music will more than ever be a tool in the propagation of the gospel. I think Gospel music is doing fine.. It has gained more acceptance and recognition, especially in the mainstream. Though we are not there yet, but our path is shining brighter. However I think the the success or how well we are doing, should be measure by the impact gospel music is making on WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

Unlike the secular music industry, the process of making money is not the same..
Initially the major challenge was money.. You know it's difficult to do music, without money. But God has been faithful. In term of success, it's in the testimony of how God has blessed lives through our ministry, and the testimony has been overwhelming. Performances, fans and dealing with fame.. You can say secular music is more about entertainment and business. Generally there is Music business, and anybody can do this, as long as you know your way, but the moment the word "Gospel" comes in, then it has become ministry and in ministry its all about the kingdom. In this case, money is not priority but soul winning. However, if you are committed to the kingdom biz,

as possible to relate with them well, I even welcome suggestions and ideas from them, after all they are my friends. Concerning fame, well I always tell myself, what is it that you have, that has not been given to you by God, So by God's grace I try to allow humility in all I do. To go far in life, you must be humble. Am single.. And my kind of woman must be a beautiful, God loving, God chaser, hardworking, praying wife and of course a mother.

What I think about gospel artiste mixing up secular tracks in their album is that one cannot promote a spiritual work with the physical work. You cannot sing with the same mouth you have used to praise people, human beings and still expect the same mouth to bring down the presence of God at the same moment. I will advise such artiste to stay in one place. If it's gospel you want to sing maintain it and if it's secular, so be it. Though there are some secular songs that are moral. I don't have issues with moral or educative songs by gospel artiste. Instead of music, what else ever crossed your mind for a life adventure? WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

Your advice for artiste that really want to do music, gospel music.
There is no STOP in the dictionary of an artiste that knows where he/she is going. There can only be comma, but full stop, no way. You keep trying till you get to the top; your destination.
My advice for artiste that want to do music most especially gospel music is to (a) take God first in all you do (b) be focused (c) believe in God and in yourself (d) always strive for excellence (e) don't let money be your target for going into gospel music but rather see your music as a way to bless God, lives and add value to lives (f) don't ever quit when it seems the road is blocked
Do you think contemporary gospel song is not welcome by episcopal and Christian elders? Yes. Some of these elders feels that the contemporary gospel songs are jamboree. They are not spirit filled do they do not welcome it. What extent have you gone to promote your music? By the grace of God, I have gone on Radio, Television and also online to promote my music.
Where do you see your music career in five years time? I see my music career at where God wants it to be. To have found God and s ll to pursue Him is a paradox of love, scorned indeed by the too-easilysa sfied religious person, but jus fied in happy experience by the children of the burning heart. Saint Bernard of Clairvaux stated this holy paradox in a musical four-line poem that will be instantly understood by every worshipping soul:

Christians are earnestly looking for ways to harvest blessings from God without even knowing if they deserve it or not. But what type of Harvest should they pray for? This is a concern for me, because a lot of Christians, the younger generations are Naive observers, I won’t use the word gullible, wouldn’t want to offend the person of any young man or lady reading this piece. You must learn biblical law that backed up sowing and reaping. Here is a scripture that further explain what Jesus did when he met with Simon, see what type of harvest you should pray for. Luke 5:1-11,And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them.
And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. wasted effort. Don't forget God does not only want you to have something to celebrate now but to also have enough for your needs and that of your family, but more than enough left over to sow for harvest! You might be wondering why do you need to think ahead, because your Your harvest comes not from your job, only from what you give. Remember when i said we will be praying for Net breaking harvest, i did not left out that simply Broken nets amounts to lost blessings and nothing more. Instead of going for a netbreaking harvest, go for a Non-net breaking harvest. Also remember, Jesus can also keep your net from breaking because he holds the power to do the impossible, that’s why I advice you pray for a Nonet breaking harvest. WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

According to Scripture we are to stand out as lights in the world and to be different, and this must surely be reflected in our dressing. If the clothing of the world is contrary to biblical guidelines, then we need to consider whether we are dressing like the world. 1 John 2.16 tells us: 'For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.' When the word ‘world’ is mentioned, it does not refer to every single person in the world, for then we would have to dress differently from everyone else and have a distinctive Christian uniform. The word ‘world’ refers to the evil and the wickedness of the world. Extracted from (A Dressing-Down on Dressing Down From The Sword & Trowel 2012, issue 1 by Mark Chen)

FASTING & PREYING
Written by Lekan Adeola
o be honest, fasting is difficult in Lagos, Nigeria. In late January this year, I began pondering on my spiritual life. I thought that I had been cold in the spirit. I felt I was dead spiritually. I decided I needed revival. A revival of the spirit. So, I had a late new year resolution. Once in a month, I'll engage in fasting and prayer, I though. Today is my first day of fast and everything is going on fine. I don't fast often so I am a little worried about going astray, somehow. No one has pissed me off. The bus conductor almost makes me lose my temper. He tries to make me forget my balance, and when I remember it, he says “how many times you wan collect change?” Well, I make sure no abusive language comes out my mouth. As I alight the bus, I stride into the street and I am greeted with the aroma of mama Bola's stew. The kind
of stew that suggests that there's 'kpomo, shaki, fuku, and the like in it. The worms in my tummy respond. Well, I have no control over that. Unfortunately, I have to pass by this buka before I get to my office. It's easy to overcome though. I simply move on. I settle in my workstation, switch on my PC and start the day's work. Now what's hard to overcome is the aroma of the coffee coming from the kitchenette. When we newly moved to this office, for many reasons, I chose the table closest to the door and that has been my spot always. Today is the first day I don't enjoy sitting at a table near the door. Somehow, I manage to get my mind off it. I remind myself of the need to awaken my spirit man. I get the total shock when Wendy, the accountant, walks by in a dress so revealing. Oh my God! Every time I move my eyes away, they just find their way back. Oh, I almost forget I am fasting. It's Friday and we are not compelled to dress in corporate wears today, so technically, she has the liberty to wear what she's wearing so

I don't blame her. Okay I blame her. She should have been modest! And she chooses today of all days to wander about like a stray dog. Just as I am getting her picture off my head she shows up again. Her heels dig on the wooden floor with the accompanying pounding sound as she walks across the large office. That's the most distracting sound one can hear in an office. Unable to help it, my eyes follow her behind until she disappears into her office. I realize I have a bulge in my trousers already. “God please forgive me,” I whispered and get on with my work. Just as I lift my head I realize that I can see Lisa's cleavage. Damn! It's so spotless. She sits across my desk so it difficult for me to avoid her. My eyes start to prey about. Like asking 'is there anyone else here who has something they might want me to see?' My preying eyes fall back on the cleavage. I start to imagine things. Like Lisa and I alone in the archive room, humping. Suddenly something tells me 'dude, you're supposed to be fasting'. Yeah right.
It's 1pm. Time for lunch break. By now, there's a war in my stomach. Then a voice creeps in my head like 'dude you should eat something.' And I'm like 'I'm fasting.' And the voice goes 'really, dude? It's called fasting and praying. Not starving and straying. You haven't even prayed today. Remember how many times you've had a bulge? Do you even remember the main reason you're fasting? News flash you have been doing the opposite.' Now I'm staring at the hot bowl of 'afang' soup and two wraps of 'eba' and it looks like they are staring back at me. After devouring the meal to the last, a wind of guilt sweeps through me. I blame myself for losing focus. I feel terrible. How could I have forgotten that I can't do anything on my own. It dawns on me that apart from discipline, I need to always be in the spirit and pray in my heart at all times. I should have asked God for grace to overcome temptations also. ''Devil you have won this battle, but not the war.” I say as I get up and head back to the office. WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM

here has been an imbroglio on social media for some time now about a very crucial matter that cuts deep into the heart of many. The argument which has been a rather sentimental one affects majorly the female folks. Research has it that in a Nigerian University having to do the statistics of rape cases, the females are about 91.6% ratio to the male folks. Now, the reason for the heat and hullabaloo is boiled down to the issue of indecent dressing. Some people who argue and try to leaven the issue now supposedly trying
to prove that having to dress in an inappropriate 'society eye' manner is the major cause for the stoke in rape cases. It won't be a bad idea to look into the indecent dressing and what it connotes exactly before throwing caution to the wind and scream foul without properly examining the actual facts of things. Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word 'indecent' as sexually offensive or shocking (of clothes): not covering enough of your body. grossly improper or offensive Having defined what indecent means, we know of-course that dressing is an act of putting on clothes to cover our nakedness as a male or female. It would also be pertinent to define what rape means. The
78 | GOSPEL SAINTS | AFRICA AUGUST 2017
same Webster dictionary defines Rape as; unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against ones will usually of a female or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent. I really love how Webster defines the word rape. it is Pellucid enough even for the common man. However, the main contention here is that can we then say just because a person's body is not well covered, such person should be subjected to unlawful covet of their own bodies. I am still trying to wrap my head around the way
people view issues and then argue about it. Now, what has been very rampant these days is the forceful copulation with minors. It's sad to hear stories of a nanny or an uncle taking advantage of a toddler. I mean for goodness sake, a toddler is between the ages of 2-3. You can imagine someone who is supposed to be watching after the young one and seeing to the well-being of him/her is then taking unlawful advantage of such child. I wonder, does a child who is just learning how to walk and even talk know what indecent dressing entails, then why should such child be WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM
subjected to such trouble and pain as a child. Let's even talk about the adults that know their right from left and are wise enough to make certain decisions. I totally believe that no matter how inappropriate a person's dress might be, especially that of the females, no one and I mean no one deserves to have his or her body defiled forcibly. It's saddening how people hide under somewhat irrelevant matters to cover up their inhuman behaviours. The issue of rape has caused a lot of people unending trauma, some have withdrawn from life and have given in to first-grade depression all because they were forcefully copulated with by someone who couldn't hold him or herself together. The most stupefying issue to me is that even women rape men. Lord! How on earth do they do these things? It's highly barbaric and preposterous for a lady to even rape a boy and expose him to sexual activities at a very tender age. The thing about boys being raped is that, if caution is not taken, such boy would grow up and reciprocate the evil that was done to him and trust me, many might end up suffering unjustly for just one person's offense. How did we get here? It feels like as though we have lost our human compassion and feelings and we no longer look out for each other anymore. Why on earth would a father rape his own daughter, his own very blood without any remorse which only comes after the cat has been let out of the bag? What sort of sexual gratification would a toddler offer to an adult, or what kind of enjoyment would a father get from sleeping with his own daughter? Indecent dressing should never be the discussion to address the issue of rape, they both are two different cases entirely.
Notwithstanding, I do not in any way support indecent dressing, I believe this issue is a personal decision, what I term decent might be indecent to another. Regardless, the proper thing is to cover up private areas of the body i.e breast, vagina, thighs e.t.c as this area can be very offensive to the public eye. But in reference to rape, no one one has the right to tamper with the body of another. If there must be sexual activity between two adults, consent is vital and very important. Consent cannot be overemphasized when it comes to issues of sexual activity. Even the married folks have to get the consent of their partner before accessing their bodies, if not it can also be termed as marital rape. Having said all, rape is a villainous act and should stop, indecent dressing should not be used to justify the act of rape. Rape is a sin and a sinner would not go unpunished.

few years ago, I attended a conference where pastors were encouraged to meet at a pub after the general sessions. A few of these pastors could exercise their liberty, but why publicly? I wondered how many people at the conference stumbled because of it.
states what many of us feel but seldom discuss, "It is puerile and irresponsible for any pastor to encourage the recreational use of intoxicants — especially in church-sponsored activities. The ravages of alcoholism and drug abuse in our culture are too well known, and no symbol of sin's bondage is more seductive or more oppressive than booze."
The demands of life often tempt us to seek gratification in alcohol and other things. We must be on high alert. The enemy uses "opportune times" to draw us away from God. (cf. Luke 4:13.) The line is so thin that it is often hard to determine when we cross over.
I couldn't agree more. The trend of young Christian leaders consuming alcohol on a regular basis is alarming. Many will look back and regret the damage that was done to lives, churches, and their own testimony. Advertisement
The person who consumes alcohol walks a very fine line between freedom and sin, responsibility and carelessness, liberty and abuse — over-indulgence can even disqualify a person from leadership (cf. 1 Timothy 3). This discussion is not about a glass of wine or beer now and then, it's about abusing liberty. Damage done to families and individuals through alcohol use demands a closer look. Pastor John MacArthur
Pastor Darrin Patrick, in his book Church Planter, writes, "I am shocked at the number of them [pastors] who are either addicted or headed toward addiction to alcohol." David Wilkerson adds, "Alcohol is now the modern golden calf, and millions of people, young and old, male and female, have been seduced by it." Many counseling appointments are because of alcohol and drug abuse. Add to that the amount of domestic violence cases and

the number of abused children because of alcohol, and we would be remiss to ignore its dangers. We often flaunt liberty and laugh in the face of God's grace by posting our favorite beer brands and wines on Facebook, all under the guise of "exercising liberty." While Romans 14 discusses personal freedoms, it also has strong warnings "not to do anything that will cause others to fall" (vs. 21). Consider the following: will show ways and steps Jesus was filled with the Spirit ... holiness flowed from every area of His life. This cannot be said of those who consume alcohol regularly. What is the fruit of today's preoccupation with alcohol? Conversations often turn away from God, if they were there to begin with. consume alcohol regularly. The harmful fruit that results from a lifestyle focused on alcohol is proof enough. The Bible never encourages crossing the line. A preoccupation with alcohol is just one indicator of alcoholism; a preoccupation with drinking at events or social gatherings is another. Some even bring out their private collection of hard liquor after having a few drinks. This is not liberty; it's addiction. We assume that the alcohol content today is the same as in Jesus' day. In His day, a little water was often placed into the wine and thus decreased the alcohol content (cf. 1 Timothy 5:23) ... much like an O'douls today. We should fellowship without engaging in the practices of a secular lifestyle. The world will know that we are Christians by our love and by our convictions, not by how well we imitate the world around us. We seldom hear non-Christians say, "I'm turned off by Christians because they seldom compromise." But we do hear, "Christians who say one thing and do another really turn me off." "Be not among winebibbers ..." (Proverbs 23:20). Drinking often is now called liberty instead of addiction. t is no doubt that Satanic Followers, agents and mercenaries are already threatened by the immense prayer and works put together by Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. Zooming my lense closer to the efficient and effective work that has been done in time past by Dr. D.K Olukoya i realize that there is dynamism to the 'calling' and there have been increase in deliverance of the people of GOD that are held in perpetual bondage. This Church does not only follow biblical doctrines that are capable of setting one path for holiness, they also preach moral principles to govern the affairs of members outside churches. You might have seen many acclaimed men of GOD follow cunningly devised fables in order to grow their churches. Dr. D.K Olukoya does not fancy himself with
phonetics or some of westernized affectation that has been depicted with an extended aim to swindle and cart away the Spiritual senses of naive Christians, by so doing they are being led into the dark tunnel where the possibility of light is Zero. On most serious note, a testimony which was relayed to the congregation by the General Overseer himself caught my attention and i pondered thereafter, only to discover that the Canopy in which a Christian is under will determine the kind of spiritual occurence that will affect his or her life. Taking a crumb from this, he said; a member of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries was reported by his Landlord for being a terror to them. that his Midnight prayers were nothing but acidic. You should be proud to be a Member of such Ministry, with testimony like this it is no doubt that members have broadened their horizon on spiritualism because it does not fancy or parade itself as a corruptible church but does envelope the greater power of God that work mystery. We have heard on countless ocassion how men, women and children were been delivered from occultic and bewitchment of the rulers of darkness. Thus, expressing the power GOD has bestowed on the General Overseer and other anointed Leaders of the Ministry. While writing this article, thoughts rolled into my heads like folded mountains into one and one caught my heart. If we have effective two thousands ministries as MFM there will be no special attention given to
the devil., no not anymore, there will be serious business of prayer that will only channel the mind of the people to GOD. If you have been to prayer city, you will know the dynamism of the Ministry. This is a place where all spiritual boundaries are been devoured and the rulers of darkness in high places have been subjected under feets of sturdy Christians. We have seen some Churches go below the bar because of their corruptible leaders and others have also been held back because spiritual matters are taken with levity. This does not have a penetration into the MFM Circuit, a solidify Tower of GOD in which we hope in coming years will win more souls all over the world and groom Christians that will shutdown the operation of the devil totally. I actually don't want to end this, i love talking about this ministry the same way i love listening to Dr. D.K Olukoya's message. I hope you enjoy this piece and i want you to look forward for more talk on ministries all over the world, because i will be diversifying from this kind of positive article to a negative one. This will not be a one sided story, i will be penetrating corruptible churches that have swindle the choice of innocents sheeps from the flock of our Lord Jesus Christ. Written by Oluwatobi Ogidiolu

Your
Commitment

e live our lives faced with meeting one expectation or the other: you are expected to get to your place of work on time, ensure you do your work as appropriate. Your family is expecting you to play your role as the father, mother or child. The same way we ourselves have expectations from others – you expect to get paid at the end of the month, you expect your child to do well when in school, you expect to pass that very important exam especially when you have studied hard. What exactly fuels expectation? I can tell you that one important component that fuels expectation is commitment! Your commitment exists to meet some expectations – Romans 8:19 says “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”. Therefore as a child of God, there is a commitment required from you because there are expectations that must be met. God was committed to delivering man from his sins and troubles and that is why He committed his only begotten
son to die so that we can live and spend eternity with him. Jesus was so committed to this cause that at some point he had to make a committed choice to stay true to the will of God in Matthew 26:39. God’s commitment to our well-being and victory is total, complete and perfect: no other can deliver such a wholesome package that takes care of every aspect of our lives with just one act of commitment. Our salvation (John 3:16), our deliverance (1 John 3:8b), our health (1 Peter 2:24), our prosperity (Galatians 3:13-14) e.t.c, all materialized because there was a commitment from God to us. God expects us to reciprocate this commitment and the first thing we need to do is to

give our lives to Christ (John 3:3-5). This is required as the only channel that allows everyone to be entitled to all other benefits from the commitment and/or sacrifice God made. Without giving your life to Christ you cannot enjoy true salvation, health, deliverance, prosperity, e.t.c. The work on the cross came with great price of humiliation, suffering, torture, and eventually death. This work was perfected when Jesus rose from the dead, and this sealed our victory as the key to death was taken away from the devil. Secondly, there must be a commitment to serve God and the interest of his kingdom – Matthew 6:33. Many do not understand that this
particular commitment shapes and give a child of God it’s bearing in life. Your purpose on earth is tied to this commitment – as a matter of fact, your purpose draws strength from this commitment. If you look at all the great men in history and especially those that made great impact, they were not serving their own interest but were serving the interest of others. Serving God and the interest of his kingdom will make you a star! For example, Michael Faraday had a talent and/or gift, he was a physicist and chemist whose many experiments contributed greatly to the understanding of electromagnetism and this lead to the invention of electricity which has benefitted humanity greatly. This purpose you WWW.GOSPELSAINTS.COM
have discovered exist to serve another person not you because at that point you have become an instrument which God will then use to affect other people’s lives. 2 Timothy 2:20 says that “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour”. Remember they are all vessels so all have a purpose – everyone created on earth by God has a purpose. However, your level of commitment will determine your level of usefulness to God and the honour that accompanies it. You can never see anyone that is committed to serving the interest of humanity that will not be great in life. The core of Matthew 6:33 is all about serving God and humanity. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you”.
heart and yourself to work for Him. That really is the starting point, my friend! Many Men who became good leaders started by serving first. David tend the sheep before God made him to rule his people and the same goes for Moses. They were not just made leaders overnight, but they got committed to taking care of the sheep and from that level of service they discovered their purpose in life. When I was in the university I served as a member of the Executive in my fellowship and tried as much as possible to serve with the whole of my heart. We had meetings, prayers, outreaches, e.t.c which require some level of sacrifice considering the fact that our academics must not suffer, and at the end, it paid off. Our commitment leads some of us to discover our purpose and/or call in life. It made us to be Now the question is what am I able to stand and maintain to be committed to? I will our simply tell anyone to start integrity even after serving in graduating and started the house of God as that is working. BIO Babalola was born of Yoruba
parents at Odo-Owa, Kwara State, Nigeria. He was brought up as an Anglican. He was registered at an elementary school at Oto-Awori on Badagry Road, Lagos State, in 1914. He got to standard four, before he became a blacksmith's apprentice and he learned it for two years, before he became a steamroller operator under the PWD (Public Works Department), then under the control of Great Britain, learning to become a steamroller driver. After 15 days of learning to drive the caterpillar, he was able to drive it without any assistance. After nine months; he became a master in his class. A steamroller was first given to him on 1 April 1928 to work on the Osogbo – Ilesha road. On June 14, 1928 he was transferred to Akure – Ilesha road. On 9 October 1928 at about 12 o'clock he was by his steamroller by the river Ariran, it was here he heard a loud voice from above like the roar of thunder which called his name thrice saying "Joseph! Joseph!! Joseph!!! Leave this job you are doing; if not, this year you are going to be cut off from the earth." Again On 11 October 1928, while trying to repair his machine, he heard an audible voice from the Lord to abandon the job and start preaching. That is how he received the call and he went into fasting and prayer. Ayo Babalola was sent out of the Anglican Church of his village by his Bishop because most members of the Church see visions; speak in tongues and pray vigorously. Babalola was baptized in Lagos lagoon in December 1929

MINISTRY AND HEALING In 1930 Faith Tabernacle affiliated with the The Apostolic Church with General Headquarters in the United Kingdom (and not British Apostolic Church, as erroneously called by some authors). Then following a schism in The Apostolic Church about 1940, Babalola went with a group led by Pastors J.B. Akinyele and D.O. Odubanjo to form a new independent church, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where he continued his healing and revivalistic activities until his death. The CAC regards Babalola as an apostle owing to his evident apostolic gifts that characterized his revival ministry as the beginning of the church, while in actual sense by real church ordination he was not at any time historically ordained into that office. A CAC retreat center was built at IkejiArakeji, Osun State where Babalola was first called in 1928. However, it is pertinent to note that Babalola was not the sole founder of CAC as many claim today but one of the trio of CAC Founding Fathers. To corroborate this, on registration of CAC with Corporate Affairs Commission in 1943, Pastors Akinyele and Odubanjo occupied the offices of first President and Vice-President/General Superintendent respectively, while Babalola (who was junior to the duo in both Faith Tabernacle and The Apostolic Church), occupied the Office of
General Evangelist. This error of founder-ship here pointed out needs to be corrected in history.

Erwin Hagin
Kenneth Erwin Hagin (August 2, 1917 – September 19, 2003) was an American Charismatic preacher. He is often referred to as the "father" (or "granddaddy") of the "Word of Faith" movement. Many of his followers often refer to him affectionately as "Dad Hagin", "Papa Hagin", and more commonly "Brother Hagin". BIOGRAPHY Personal life Kenneth E. Hagin was born in McKinney, Texas, the son of Lillie Viola Drake Hagin and Jess Hagin. He was married to Oretha Rooker. They had two children, a son named Kenneth Wayne Hagin, who is currently the pastor of Rhema Bible Church and President of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, and a daughter named Patricia Harrison. His most quoted scripture was Mark 11:22-24 Bible
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Beginning to preach According to Hagin's testimony, he was sickly as a child, suffering from a deformed heart and what was believed to be an incurable blood disease. He said that he was not expected to live and became bedridden at age 15. In April 1933 during a

dramatic conversion experience, he reported dying three times in 10 minutes, each time seeing the horrors of hell and then returning to life. He also says he was raised from his deathbed on August 8, 1934 by "the revelation of faith in God's Word" (Kenneth Hagin, I Went to Hell and What Faith Is). Two years later he preached his first sermon as the pastor of a small community church in Roland, Texas, 9 miles (14 km) from McKinney. During the next twelve years he pastored five Assemblies of God churches in Texas: in the cities of Tom Bean, Farmersville (twice), Talco, Greggton, Texas, and Van Establishing a faith-based organization Hagin began an itinerant ministry as a Bible teacher and evangelist in 1949. Hagin was at this time also
given full admission to the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (also known as the FGBMFI) which had been established in 1951. He was also a part of the Voice of Healing Revival in the U.S. in the 40s and 50s together with Oral Roberts, Gordon Lindsay and T. L. Osborn. In 1963, Kenneth E. Hagin Evangelistic Association was incorporated, and the offices of the ministry moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1966. That same year, he taught for the first time on radio — on KSKY in Dallas. In 1967, he began a regular radio broadcast that continues today as Faith Seminar of the Air. Teaching by his son, Rev. Kenneth Wayne Hagin, is also heard on the program.
