Le travi Le doppie travi sono in frassino termo-cotto. Il frassino termo-cotto si ottiene da un trattamento intensivo di travi di legno di frassino ad una altissima temperatura (ca. 180°C). Questo surriscaldamento produce una modifica permanente delle caratteristiche chimiche e fisiche del legno. Le cellule del legno subiscono una variazione chimica che ne aumenta la resistenza al degrado biologico specialmente in ambienti esterni. Il legno che subisce un simile trattamento assume poi un aspetto ‘vissuto’, diventa più scuro con tonalità differenti, anche molto scure e la colorazione può ancora variare col passare del tempo. La sua permanenza all’esterno, con una continua esposizione agli agenti atmosferici, provoca una ossidazione superficiale che porta ad una progressiva decolorazione dell’essenza fino ad un colore grigio. Per mantenere la finitura originaria si consiglia una mautenzione periodica con oli protettivi per legni esterni. Si consiglia inoltre di evitare che le travi rimangano a lungo a contatto con acqua stagnante. A tal fine le doppie travi vengono fornite con un piede che le mantiene alzate dal pavimento. Il frassino termo-cotto si può definire un materale ecologicamente pulito sia per la sua origine che per i trattamenti ai quali è sottoposto.
The beams The double-beams are made with heat treated ashwood. Heat treated ashwood is obtained by intensive treatment of ashwood beams at an unusual high temperature (abt. 180° C). Such overheating will permanentely modify the chemical and physical wood-features. By changing the chemistry of the wooden cells, the process will increase the resistance of wood to biological degradation, even in outdoor locations. The heat treated wood will look aged and get brown shades and tones which may change with time passing. The permanent exposure to the weathering creates an oxidation of the surface and this may fade more and more to grey. To keep the original finish a periodic care with protective oils for exterior woods is suggested. We also suggest not to leave the beams soaked in a moist/wet soil. For this reason we provide the double-beams with special feet. Heat treated ashwood is an ecologically clean material both on its production and its use.
Träger Die Träger sind doppelt und bestehen aus Thermo-Esche-Holz. Thermo-Holz ist das Ergebnis einer außergewöhnlichen hohen Wärmebehandlung (180° Grad). Diese Behandlung verändert die Holz-Eigenschaften die sich so für den Außenbereich bestens anpassen; die chemische Modifizierung der Holzzellen beschränkt die Aufnahme des Wassers. Thermo-Esche-Holz scheint natürlich geältert und die Holzfarbe wird dunkler mit braunen Flecken und Farbtönen die sich mit der Zeit leicht abändern. Die permanente Benützung im Außenbereich und die Witterungseffekte bewirken eine Oxydation der Oberfläche, die eine Farbabweichung bis zum Grau erreichen kann. Um die ursprüngliche Oberfläche zu behalten, ist eine dauernde Behandlung mit Schutzöle für Holz im Außenbereich empfholen. Hinweis: die Träger nicht in stillstehendes Wasser lassen. Um die Wasserstauung der Träger zu vermeiden, haben wir besondere Füße montiert. Thermo-Esche-Holz ist ein umweltfreundliches Material, sei es von der Produktion, wie auch vom seinem Gebrauch her.
Les poutres Les poutres sont en bois de frêne thermochauffé. Le traitement de thermochauffage consiste à chauffer le bois de frêne à haute température (180°C) afin de le rendre imputrescible et indéformable. Le bois est chauffé en plusieurs phases; la chaleur transforme les glucoses du bois en acides et la résine se cristallise en donnant au bois une forte résistance aux insectes et à la moissure. Le bois traité devient plus foncé avec differentes nouances de couleur et il peut continuer à modifier ces nouances au fil du temps. La permanence à l’extérieur et l’effet des agents atmosphériques donnent lieu à une oxydation de la surface qui conduit à un changement de couleur jousqu’au gris. Pour maintenir la finition originale nous conseillons un soin regulier avec huile de protection pour bois extérieur. La seule précaution conseillée c’est de ne pas laisser les poutres plongées dans l’eau; pour cette raison nous avons prevû un pied en acier qui les souleve du sol. Le bois de frêne thermochauffé peut être consideré, soit par son origine soit par son traitement, un material écologique.
Materiali Tutte le strutture sono in alluminio con trattamento a polveri per esterno. La finitura è il CIPRIA. Gli intrecci sono realizzati in Sunrope: un filo di PVC con all’interno un rinforzo in poliestere.
Materials All frames are in aluminum powder coated. The finish is CIPRIA (powder). The weave is made with a special rope named SUNROPE. Sunrope is a PVC rope with inside a polyester yarn.
Material Die Gestelle sind alle aus Aluminium pulverbeschichtet. Die Ausführung ist CIPRIA (Puder). Das Geflecht besteht aus einem besonderen Seil das sich SUNROPE nennt. Sunrope ist ein PVC-Seil mit einem Polyesterkern.
Materiaux Toutes les structures sont en aluminium avec traitement époxy. La finition est CIPRIA. Les tressages sont realisés avec le SUNROPE. Le Sunrope est une bande en PVC avec un fil de polyester à l’intérieur.
