MICHAEL SAMRA (20%) AS PARTNER AND PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT, MICHAEL SAMRA BRINGS OVER 15 YEARS OF DESIGN AND MATERIAL EXPERIENCE TO EACH PROJECT. HIS EXTENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF CONSTRUCTION AND DETAILING ALLOWS HIM TO TRANSFORM OUR CLIENTS THOUGHS AND IDEAS INTO REALITY. HE COMPLETED THE DESIGN FOR SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA INCLUDING FIREBRAND SAINTS AND BRICK AND MORTAR. iN ADDITION HE EXEXCUTED THE VENTURE CAFE ON THE FIFTH FLOOR OF CAMBRIDGE INNOVATION CENTER. MICHAEL HAS RECENTLY COMPLETED A NEW LAW OFFICE FOR DAIN TORPY AND THE THIRD PHASE OF A 60,000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE EXPANSION FOR IMPRIVATA, A LEXINGTON BASED SOFTWARE COMPANY.

SHE WILL ATTEND ALL PROJECT MEETINGS, CIRCULATE COMMUNICATION, AND LEAD THE DEVOPMENT OF DRAWING SETS. HER EXPERIENCE AT studio TROIKA INCLUDES HEALTHCARE OFFICES, COMMERCIAL OFFICES, AND RETAIL PROJECT DESIGNS. SHE HAS MOST RECENTLY COMPLETED B/SPOKE IN CAMBRIDGE.
AS 3D VISUALIZTION DESIGNER, CHAD WILL INTEGRATE BIM DESIGN WITH 3 AND 4-D VISUALISATION TECHNIQUES IN THE VISUALIZATION PROCESS. HE HAS PRODUCED RENDERINGS FOR STUDIO TROIKA INCLUDING HEALTHCARE, HOSPITALITY, RETAIL, AND RESIDENTIAL DESIGN PROJECTS. MOST RECENTLY, HE WORKED TO DEVELOP HARLEY DAVIDSON ALONGSIDE THEIR CORPORATE TEAM.

BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE, MA CLIENT: GARY STRACK SIZE: 16,000 SQUARE FEET DESCRIPTION: WORKING WITH THE OWNERS OF IGGY’S BREAD, CENTRAL KITCHEN, AND B SIDE LOUNGE, THE SPACE WAS DESIGNED TO FEEL LIKE A “DIVE BAR” WHERE PEOPLE WHO
WORKED IN THE RESTAURANT AND BAR INDUSTRY COULD HANGOUT. THE BRICK AND BEAM FEEL OF THE SPACE WAS PRESERVED AND HIGHLIGHTED WITH LIGHTING. A LARGE OVAL SHAPED COPPER BAR IS THE CENTERPIECE AND COMMUNAL GATHERING POINT FOR THE SPACE, HEARKENING BACK TO THE FEEL OF THE NOW CLOSED B SIDE LOUNGE.

Located in Kendall Square in Cambridge, the 5th floor renovation of the Cambridge Innovation Center takes a new approach to the idea of innovative incubation for startups. The design is based on CIC as an ecosystem that provides space for multiple “communities” to collaborate and share ideas. Interspersed throughout the floor are a variety of huddle/conference rooms At the opposite end, separated from the main office
space, is a cafe/meeting area where CIC’s clients can gather for coffee, food, and events in an environment designed to feel like you’ve left the office.
