DUAL CITY SUMMER PROGRAMS The Dual City Summer Sessions are a range of practical fashion, design and art courses with SAI partner school Central Saint Martins (member of University of the Arts London). Courses commence at Central Saint Martins in London and continue in either Barcelona or Milan. Our partners in these programs are all colleges with outstanding reputations, based in cities famous for their culture and creativity. The Schools Central Saint Martins (CSM) - London
SAI offers students the opportunity to study at University of the Arts London (UAL), Central Saint Martins (CSM), Europe’s largest university for art, design, communication and the performing arts. CSM has a distinguished international reputation and offers a diverse and comprehensive range of undergraduate courses in design. Join alumnae such as Stella McCartney, Galliano and others in studying at this outstanding 150 year old institution. Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA) - Milan
NABA, a renowned academy of fine arts and design, was established in 1980, with the intention of challenging the rigid academic traditions of the time by introducing new visions and languages closer to contemporary artistic practice and the creative professions. NABA training programs are based on a cross-disciplinary method aimed at developing professional skills and profiles in the fields of art, design, fashion, media and graphic design. NABA is the only nationally accredited higher education institution for design in Italy. Elisava School Of Design - Barcelona
Elisava is the oldest and foremost design school in Spain, founded in 1961. Throughout its history, Elisava’s role has been instrumental in shaping the culture of design in Barcelona and all of Spain. Located in the historical center of Barcelona, the city’s emblematic works and sights are all nearby. As with many design schools, the faculty is comprised of successful designers in their field.

Programs and Courses The Dual City Programs are hands-on, practical courses suitable for beginners and portfolio builders, perfect for anyone planning on applying for further studies or trying something new. Students participating in the program will enroll in one of the course sets offered and take 2 classes, one in each city, for a total of 6 credits. Each course set requires studying 2 weeks in each city.

London and Milan are synonymous with great art and design. When people talk of cities that have generated the most famous creative people and innovative work you can be sure that London and Milan appear at the top of the list. Both cities have some of the best fashion, art and retail experiences, exceptional architecture and are home to some of the world’s top design companies. If you are a beginner and wish to build a portfolio and sample a real design school atmosphere at CSM and our partner institution, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, or you are an experienced student or designer who wishes to build upon existing skills at CSM and at our other partner institution, both are offered.
