Hey Key Clubbers One of the greatest things about the holiday season is getting to putting up Christmas decorations. Everybody loves them and they help to put us all into the festive mood. Today we will be preparing our Christmas display for the Key Club bulletin board (for those of u who do not know, the KC Bulletin Board is located to your left as u enter Stuy through the bridge). We encourage you to stay after the meeting to help us with the painting. It is a great way to socialize with other Key Clubbers and we guarantee that it will be lots of fun. Hope to see you there. Yours in caring service, The Key Club Cabinet

This is a question that I have been asked numerous times. The best way to describe a divisional would be to compare it to a big Key Club meeting with the six clubs of the Metropolitan Division participating. Only cabinet members are obligated to attend, but members are encouraged to come as well. In fact, our Key Club normally brings the most members to these divisionals. Divisionals make it possible for members of different Key Clubs to interact. Each club describes some of the events they participate in. We also exchange ideas for the future: fundraising tips, membership drives, and other such events. Divisionals present you with the opportunity to learn more about Key Club above the club level (as you may or may not know, Key Club is an international organization with a huge hierarchy). Attendance at divisionals will also show your dedication towards the club, which comes in handy if you would like to run for a position in March. In addition, this particular divisional is mandatory for all of you interested in becoming the new Lieutenant Governor of the Metropolitan Division. But, don’t forget, divisionals are fun as well. They give you a chance to hang out with your friends and bond with other Key Clubbers. After the divisional is over, u can chill out in Battery Park. So come join us. We would really appreciate it.

Thursdays: Meet up with fellow Momentum team members after school on either day to go to the Momentum sites, where you’ll prepare desserts for AIDS patients. No culinary experience necessary. Saturdays and Sundays: Lend a hand at Bowery Mission Soup Kitchen: serve lunch to the community’s homeless, help prepare meals, sort donations and usher patrons to their dining seats. This is, and probably will continue to be, one of most popular events. Sundays: Come and volunteer at the Silver Lake Nursing Home in Staten Island. You can help care for the elderly and learn some really cool things and meet
