* Dues are Due * As our treasurer, Arthur, puts it, the only down side of Key Club may be the club’s dues for each and every member. Being a rather bureaucratic organization with many levels of administration, Key Club has to set aside money for administrative needs. Each member’s dues amount to ten dollars and here is the breakdown:   

Five dollars ($5) for Key Club International level Four dollars ($4) for the New York State level One dollar ($1) for Stuyvesant Key Club

As mentioned, the students are the essence of our club, but dues are also necessary to keep the club running. With that said, please turn in your dues to Arthur as soon as possible. Collections will start today after the meeting. Remember to give your name and ID number when you hand in the money to avoid any misunderstanding.

EVENTS Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Walk

9/24

Thanks to all of the some thirty participants of the walk this past Sunday at Battery Park. (Able to make it with such short notice!) It was the first major event of the year and was a great way to kick things off for the 2000-2001 year of Key Club. All participants ranging from hot dog vendors to water “handoutters” to even Cha-Cha dancers did a great job. We wish all members to be as motivated throughout the year. Remember our goal is to make a difference in a positive way. Upcoming events NY Cares Day - Saturday 10/14 Get yer Hands nice n’ dirty!
