Quick note to some committees:
This is going to be a relatively shorter newsletter. Here are just some updates to keep in mind:
Due to Hurricane Sandy, the early bird dues deadline has been extended to December 1. Remember, it is mandatory for all members to hand in the $12 dues. Key Club Week is from Nov 5-9! Fall Rally will be on Saturday November 10th at Edward R. Murrow High School. It’s highly encouraged that you come! We will probably have a meeting soon where you can introduce your committees to the members so they can pick which one(s) they want to join. More will be updated on that later. Fundraising: In September’s newsletter, we asked that you plan a fundraiser for Fall Rally, so keep that in mind. Locksmith: Remember, we must have at least one Locksmith issue each month. Public Relations: Here is a video from the NYDKC Public Relations Committee. Please watch it and subscribe to the Youtube channel so you can be updated on what the district PR committee is doing. Expect to see a second video about Key Club Week soon. New Projects: Remember, one of NP’s responsibilities is to find at least 3 service events per month.
A final note: Most of you did not send in your CMRFs. The cabinet will not always give monthly assignments, but that doesn’t mean you’re inactive that month. Some of the committees have monthly requirements and if not, we expect you to work on something yourself. So please send in CMRFs.
