September Divisional By Tiffany Chen: walked into Stuy's lunchroom for the September Divisional, and immediately, I was surrounded by friendly people from a lot of different schools. While I'm naturally a shy person, I felt comfortable knowing that we were all connected through Key Club and that there was nothing to be afraid of. I joined the large group of Stuyvesant students, and in a few minutes, the divisional commenced. First, we recited the pledges. We also did single claps to thank everyone that was there. Also, we took attendance. It was done by Calvin yelling out school names and a representative of the school yelling back the number of people attending the divisional from the school. I felt so much pride when I heard Sarah, our treasurer, yell out "26!", the most out of every school there. Afterwards, we spoke about our accomplishments. Included was the two fundraisers held by Stuyvesant: the Midwood + Stuyvesant Bowling Fundraiser and the Stuyvesant Dave & Buster's Fundraiser. Hearing about everything the schools have done made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We were able to accomplish this much. I felt so proud. I'm so happy I was able to attend my first divisional in September. I was able to meet new people and hear about other schools and how their Key Clubs function.

Brooklyn Mid-Autumn Moon Fest

By Bingyi Zeng: On September 8th, I rushed out of my house and ran to 8th Avenue just to arrived right on time for the setup of Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. I've always loved this event because of all the free food they gave out during the festival. When I arrived at the tent, people were already working together and setting things up. Their enthusiasm and sparkling energy inspired me and I quickly joined them and helped with the set up. After setup, we just sat and helped with different tents. The event went smoothly and I was so glad that I volunteered at this event. It was really nice helping people celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. This was an amazing experience and I look forward to volunteer at this event again next year.
