SAT 8 JUNE - COMMUNITY FUN DAY

11am - 3pm

Free fun for all the family at Hopwood Hall College's Middleton Campus, Rochdale Road, M24 6XH. Last year's event which attracted over 2000 visitors included activities such as face painting, sports tournaments, samba dancing, virtual reality demonstrations and tours of its renowned animal enclosures. SAT 22 JUNE - HEYWOOD 1940S DAY

Heywood - various locations 10am - 5pm

A popular annual event which includes an armed forces parade (leaving Tower Street at 1pm), afternoon dance, 1940s entertainment (infront of St Lukes from 1pm), vintage carousel, charity stalls, armoured and vintage vehicles, live music and air raid shelter (at Tilly's Tea Room) and lots more.
