Street Eat returns to Rochdale Town Hall Square this June
Following on from the huge success of last year’s ‘Street Eat’, the exciting, free event returns on Saturday 15 June 2024, 11am - 7pm to the newly re-opened Town Hall Square.
Organised by Rochdale Town centre Business Improvement District (BID) and supported by Rochdale Borough Council, there will be an array of stalls from the town’s thriving food and drink establishments, as well as free entertainment, as you bask in the relaxed ambience of al fresco dining!
Paul Ambrose, Rochdale's Business Improvement District Manager, commented:
"The idea for the event is simple, in that local food and drink businesses set up stalls around the Town Hall Square and showcase what they have to offer.
"Tasty food from local restaurant chefs will be on the menu, with dozens of mouth-watering dishes to try.
"The annual event attracts regular customers, local residents and visitors and portrays the town in a positive light which increases the chances of those attending wanting to return to the town again."
This year’s event will return to its original home next to Rochdale Town Hall, adjacent to the River Roch, utilising the huge, new paved area.
There will be activities and rides for children, a bar for the adults and a music stage serving up hours of fun for all ages.
Traders will include Bombay Brew, Vicolo Del Vino, The Flying Horse, The Baum, Vinesteins, D’Ale House, Bank Top Farm, Tree House Bar and many more.
