Bluebird Care Rochdale goes the extra mile

CELEBRATING JOAN'S SPECIAL DAY

One of Bluebird Care Rochdale's lovely customers, Joan had a particularly fabulous birthday (but we cannot reveal a lady's age can we?). The team went the extra mile to make it a special day.

Joint owner, John Keogh, commented:

"Our customers are very important to us and we loved arranging this treat for Joan's big day. We are grateful to Robert for coming in the van and that Susie's were able to deliver an ice cream... with a flake in it!"

We wonder if that is significant?

Happy Birthday Joan!

CHEERS TO NEW FRIENDSHIPS AND ADVENTURES!

Meet Allan, a Bluebird Care Rochdale care assistant who takes one of their cherished customers on social adventures, which have recently included The Trackside in Bury, leisurely walks around scenic spots like Hollingworth Lake and cozy evenings baking or solving jigsaw puzzles.

Joint Owner, Beryl Keogh commented: "We're more than just caregivers, we're companions on a mission to combat loneliness. Because for us, every moment spent together is a chance to brighten someone’s day."

Bluebird Care Rochdale is always looking for kind, compassionate, reliable, dedicated individuals to join its amazing team. In return, the company offer full training, a friendly, supportive working environment and an extremely fulfilling role making a difference to people's lives.

"What an amazing opportunity this has been for me. With the support I have had from my colleagues and training provider, my confidence has soared and I can see that there is great opportunity in the sector for those who want a growing career. The customers are at the centre of what we all do and I try very hard to keep our field team appraised of why and how we are doing things so they can try to understand the complexities of co-ordination" - Amie

"I cannot believe I have been here 12 months. The time has absolutely flown by and I have really enjoyed getting to appreciate a different aspect of the care sector. Having previously worked in care delivery I wanted to support those that go out and see our customers and this opportunity allows this and makes me appreciate much more what is involved in such a business. I have been supported with my apprenticeship and been given advice and coaching about how to achieve my goals. My confidence has steadily grown as I have been give some real autonomy in developing practices and procedures. Roll on year 2!" - Lauren
