1. Initial chat - We’ll have an initial chat on the phone so I can find out more about you and what documents you’re wanting me to prepare for you. I’ll give you an idea of the cost of my services so you have my costs upfront.
2. Home visit - I come to you. My clients love this part of the service because they don’t have to find my office or pay for parking. The appointment dates and times are flexible to suit you. I have daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
When I come to see you, we have a chat about what you want to put in your documents and I’ll advise you about your options.
I have 20 years experience of working as a solicitor, I’m a member of the Society of Will writers, hold the 'safe to do business with' accreditation and I specialise in writing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney so you’re in safe hands!
3. I prepare your documents - I go back to my desk and prepare your documents in simple language and within a matter of weeks. There’s no legal jargon.
4. Confirmation - You confirm that you’re happy with your draft documents and we arrange a day and time for signing them.
5. Second visit - I come back to your house and sign your documents with you. I don't charge extra for witnessing the documents as this is all included in the original cost. I arrange safe storage of your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney for you so you know that they are kept safe for when they are needed. I also arrange for your Will to be added to the National Will register so there’s no chance that an earlier Will will be used when it is needed.
