Recently they were tasked with styling a customer for a wedding, a mother of the Groom who wanted to steer clear of the traditional, sometimes dated look that can often be associated with the title.

The customer, Viv, wanted something elegant but bright, two looks that can sometimes be hard to marry (pardon the pun) together, however, the team got to work straight away on pulling some beautiful styles for her to try.

Viv tried on a few of their styles, but after the guidance of the Jon Ian team settled with the beautiful ‘Olga’ dress in the Pink Leaves print. The nipped in waist and handkerchief hem suited Viv’s shape completely and whilst the colour was bright, the shapely silhouette retained the elegance that Viv wanted. The team opted for an off-white slingback that picked out the lighter pattern running throughout the dress. Viv wanted a closed toe as it was an early Spring wedding, and not too high a heel as we all know weddings can be a long day. The Kennel & Schmenger ‘May’ slingback fit the bill perfectly and finished the outfit off when paired with Essentiel Antwerp's 'Deedee' bag.
