#AtletangAyala: Olympian Jasmine Alkhaldi hopes to make waves at world championships in Budapest MANILA -- Fresh from her SEA Games success in Hanoi, Vietnam, #AtletangAyala and Olympian Jasmine Alkhaldi will once again plunge into action at the 19th FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary on June 18 to July 3. According to Alkhaldi, she commenced training for the world meet as soon as she arrived from Hanoi. “The World Championships is important to me because it is part of my pathway towards hopefully making it to the Olympics in 2024,” she said. The 29-year-old swimmer, who also represented the Philippines in the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics, bagged a silver and a bronze medal in women’s 4x100m medley relay and women’s 100m butterfly, respectively, from the recent SEA Games. During the Games, Alkhaldi also earned a “B” Standard Entry Time (women’s 50m freestyle) in a FINA qualifying event, enabling her to clinch a spot with Miranda Renner and Jonathan Cook. “I have been working on carrying my physical performance from the recently concluded SEA Games toward my performances at Worlds. Each athlete underwent a rigorous screening process that lasted for a month. “Swimming at the recently concluded SEA Games, as a national athlete and an #AtletangAyala, was truly an honor,” she said. “The #AtletangAyala program

gave me the support and the boost of confidence that I needed, knowing that there is a program that will support me and also root for me, not only before or during the Games, but also even after.” As part of her #AtletangAyala benefits, Alkhaldi was hired by Ayala Center for Excellence in Sports (ACES) as a program associate, where she will receive full-time salary for parttime work. Ayala believes that sports can inspire and bring together a nation. Hence, through ACES, Ayala hopes to enable Filipino athletes achieve their full potential. #AyalaForTheGreaterGood

WHEN did you make someone smile lastly, my dear reader? Maybe you think that this is hardly the time to do so right now. Understandable, if we consider today’s global and national situation. Honestly, it seems we have no more time and no reason for laughter if we look around. That can wait until tomorrow or better until the day after tomorrow. Anticipation is better... . Our enemies laugh up their sleeves, and most of the time we miss to recognize the fortune still smiling at us. But hold on: he who laughs last laughs longest. Remember? American neurologist Henri Rubenstein says, laughter lowers high blood pressure while aiding digestion and fostering sleep. Well, give me even a simple smile and believe in what experts say: “Good humor can help the gravely or terminally ill to hear their ordeal”. Of course, if we look around us these days, we might really not roar with laughter or split our sides laughing. Or even more than this! Have you heard about the incident at the Danish Imperial Theatre in Copenhagen/Denmark

sometime during the 1980’s, when a spectator died of a heart attack while watching the movie “A Fish Called Wanda” starring John Cheese of my favorite Great Britain’s Monty Python Comedy Team? Sure, a heart attack is indeed not funny, and honestly, I still love to watch this movie on Youtube. Well, even if we think we don’t have reasons to laugh,we should try to express mirth spontaneously, and we should try to be merry or gay. We still have reasons to start with the softest form of audible laughter - the vocalized smile. This is what I learned and experienced from the first moment on while travelling in Asia since 1978, and being an expat living in the Philippines since 1999 for good. Keep smiling - even you are overloaded with huge problems. Experts also say good humor works because it helps people feel easier in mind. The French psychotherapist Sylvie Tenenbaum stressed that, in her patients, laughter often signals the dawning of a wholesome awakening to reality. Gallow humor might be dubious in the eyes of others. But try to sing out loud, try to cry, but try to laugh!

Give a genuine compliment. Say ‘thank you’. Spark up a conversation with an old friend, either over the phone or 6 ft away. Send someone a meaningful song. Run an errand for someone. Tip a little extra. Do chores for your family or roommates. Bring someone a coffee. As a devout Christian, I love reading the bible. Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 say: “There is a time for everything ... a time to be born and a time to die ,,, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh!” And, very important - Psalms always help. The cries from the heart - the songs for sorrow as well as joy. For every emotion and mood, you can find a psalm to match. They wrestle with the deepest sorrow. Their voice is refreshingly spontaneous. +++ Email: doringklaus@ gmail.com or follow me on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn or visit www.germanexpatinthephilippines.blogspot. com or www.klausdoringsclassicalmusic.blogspot.com.

Kim’s Dream The Essence of Life Now Unfolding

We are more than Form but Consciousness THE essence of life is not just equated to one’s breathing. I breathe therefore I exist is only applicable to a consumerist and materialistic society, to the world of the mundane but not of the sublime, in the value-based and spiritual life of human beings who are embodied spirits, a consciousness prior to taking a form (human body.) Such awakening process has now begun amidst the fallacies of life and religions that have put humanity in the state of collective insanity that is controlled by egoic mindset that has continuously given way to an economic paradigm that has put humanity “one minute before midnight.” Such fallacies of life are being controlled by the mainstream media that are continuously disseminating gospel of lies and fake news that have buried humanity deeply into unbridled materialism and consumerism. You want to be happy? So, buy this and buy that! Indeed, the profit motive has already captured the mindset of all governments, all institutions, all universities and even of religious groups. If the business-as-usual development paradigm will continue and the non-stop denigration of spiritual-

ity goes on without let up, humanity will surely face the 6th extinction in less than one hundred years. We are now in the 22nd year of the 21st century but we are not sure anymore if we can reach the 22nd century which is just 78 years from now. The anthropogenic (made-made) climate change is just one of the glaring threats. Anytime, a nuclear war can happen as shown in the on-going Ukraine War, brandishing Vladimir Putin’s statement that Russia is not afraid to go anytime to a nuclear war. The imperative call for an awakening process is manifested in various ways. There is now an on-going analysis based on an Oxfam Study why are we allowing the regime of one percent through corporate globalization where the 1% total wealth of the wealthiest is greater than the combined assets of the 99% of the world’s population? Who is running the world affairs? The governments? No, the global corporations in cohort with powers-that-be! Don’t you know that it was not Lee Harvey Oswald who killed then US President, John F. Kennedy in the 60s but the corporations producing armaments in

Orlan R. Ravanera

cohort with the CIA and the FBI because during his term as US President, Kennedy wanted to stop the Vietnam War but these corporations didn’t like that because these corporations were earning some 500 billion dollars annually out of that war through the manufacturing of lethal weapons. This is the result of the US Congressional investigation recently. This is shown glaringly in another study that during the Iraq war, it was the US Corporations manufacturing armaments that are supplying both warring factions, the reason why Harvard Scholars students from the Middle East taking Ph.D.’s then organized ISIS upon their return to the Middle East, calling the US then as the “evil empire” of the world which must be stopped by all means. Don’t you know that, that “evil empire” is responsible for the anthropogenic climate change as the 19 fossil companies led by the Exxon Mobile are earning some 10 trillion dollars annually or 10 million dollars every minute in See FORM, page 11

Pinoys’ improved life means measures vs. Covid-19 ‘working’ By RUTH ABBEY GITA-CARLOS

MANILA – The improved life of more Filipinos is an indication that the Duterte administration’s measures against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) are “working,” Malacañang said Friday. In a press statement, acting Presidential Spokesperson and Communications Secretary Martin Andanar welcomed the results of the Social Weather Station’s (SWS) April 19 to 27 poll which showed that 32 percent of adult Filipinos believed their life got better in the past 12 months. The latest figure was higher than the 24 percent registered in December 2021. “We view this improvement as incontrovertible proof that the current government’s pandemic response is working, where we put premium on both health and the economy,” Andanar said. Political Transfiguration, Teachers Hopes and Prayers SOWAIRA D. LUCMAN, Teacher III Macabalan Elementary School

According to Wikipedia, an election is a formal group decision-making process by which a population chooses an individual or multiple individuals to hold public office. It is the usual mechanism to legally choose the person or persons who hold public office. It is conducted through voting. Election is the time when the people exercise suffrage and choose their own leader. The 2022 election in the Philippines was successfully and peacefully concluded and now part of history. Public went out from their houses and tirelessly lined-up under the heat of the sun, to cast their votes. Personally, it was my first time seeing how everyone wanting to be involved and be heard. Media people, political groups, civic organizations and almost part of the echelon were watchful of every proceeding. With the heroic deeds of everyone, it is essential to look back on how teachers did their parts amid reports of malfunctioning VCMs. Educators proved it again that they are indispensable and indeed deserved to be called Unsung Heroes. Much respect to the teachers who still managed to smile, attended to the queries and problems experienced by the voters, and finished the job despite of all the glitches and hardship they have experienced. And now that inaugurations are closely to happen, what are teachers to expect from our leaders? I don’t bring the voice of the majority, yet, if to be asked, definitely, my answered would be I go for salary increase and

uplifting teachers’ wellness and wellbeings. The government turn should guarantee teachers with adequate support through the expansion of benefits and incentives, and the strengthening of professional development programs for educators. With this Nations’ New Leaders, it is a prayer of every teacher that may this State fulfills its responsibility of providing adequate compensation for teachers as this will prevent good number of competent teachers from leaving the country for better opportunities abroad. May this transformation, make every educator proud of themselves and finds contentment in exchange of the services rendered to the Filipino learners. May all those who made their promises and implement their platforms or they may forget everything they promised during the campaign period but the Filipino people are looking forward to a new face of Philippine political pictures. They are anticipating that the new administration will look at the present situation of the Philippines in all angles and perspectives because what the Filipino people need nowadays and after the outbreak is a kind of government that leads the people towards prosperity, peace and unity without any political agenda. They are putting all their hopes to the new administration. May our new leaders consider their promises to the people so that peace and prosperity reign and our beloved country will continue stepping forward in the coming days, weeks and years.

THE MAN BEHIND ALTRECHA MUSIC STUDIO:

Creating Music Talents and More

HAVING music inclination is a gift that only few of us is endowed with innately. It is a costly gift when pursued but rewards expensively when passion meets luck. But what if the artist is at a crossroad of early adulting and family life? A lot of artists fell into hibernation, stagnating their artistic abilities and eventually trading them for a regular life just so they can raise their family. But not this 26-year old dreamer and doer, John Carl Altrecha. or JC Altrecha, as he is better known, who hails from Cagayan de Oro City, manages to do both -raising a family and making money out of his musical pleasures. He does not only manages but thrives in it. Not so long ago, JC was

Upon inquiry from her mother who served as the informant of her COLB, Mrs. Sauda D. To further substantiate her correct date of birth, petitioner attaches hereto her COLB of her older sister Rosminah Macabantog Marohomsalic, marked as ANNEX”J”, showing the latter’s date of birth October 21, 1975. It is impossible that petitioner who is the fourth child is born in 1974, while the third child Rosminah was born in 19975. Knowing precisely his correct birth date January 16, a963, he had supplied and reflected only said date in all his official records and identification cards, namely, Marriage Certificate, Supreme Court ID, Service Record in the Voter’s ID, respectedly attached hereto as Annex “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E” and “F”; 10. However, recently when he secured a copy of his Certificate of Live Birth (COLB, for brevity) from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), he disciovered that an erroneous birth date, January 16, 1957, is reflected therein, copy of said COLB under Registry No. 96-33 is attached hereto as Annex “G”; 11. Petition was astounded because, as the informant of said COLB, he perfectly recalls the he supplied the correct details to the typist thereof. Unfortunately, as he was confident that the correct details were aptly typed in to the COLB form, he inadvertently failed to notice the erroneous birth year 1957 typed therein before affixing his signature; 12. Hence, herein Petitioner is left with no recourse but to seek judicial remedy for the correction of the erroneous birth year shown in his COLB pursuant to Rule 108 of the Rules of Court; 13. This petition is filed without the slightest intention to defraud or prejudice the government or any private entity; its ultimate purpose being to correct the erroneous entry as appears in the public records of the Civil Registry and thus make it reflective of the petitioner’s correct birth date January 16, 1963 as appears in all his other official records. Finding the petition to be sufficient in form substance, it is hereby ordered that the same be set for hearing before this Court on August 9, 2022 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning. Let a copy of this Order be published at the expense of the petitioner in a newspaper of general circulation in Lanao del Sur or Marawi City or Iligan City for three (3) consecutive weeks. The Local Civil Registrar of Mulondo, Lanao del Sur and the Civil Registrar General of the Philippine Statistics Authority, Government Service Insurance System, PAG-IBIG Fund, Civil Service Commission, and the Supreme Court of the Philippines, may file their opposition thereto within fifteen (15) days from notice of this Petition or form the last day of publication of this Order. Further, let this Order be posted for fifteen (15) days prior to the date of hearing in the Bulletin Board of the Local Civil Registrar of Mulondo, Lanao del Sur and the Bulletin Board of this Court, also at the expenses of the petitioner. 8978, or the Mount Kitanglad Range Protected Area Act. In an interview Thursday, Major Jaemar Paguidopon, chief of police of Impasugong Police Station, said the respondents acted as guides and porters to the 26 mountaineers who climbed Mt. Kitanglad without proper clearance in December last year. “They were hired by the mountaineers to help carry their belongings, and the prosecution found probable cause of their involvement,” he said. Paguidopon said the accused surrendered Wednesday afternoon and immediately posted bail amounting to PHP30,000 each. Those who surrendered were identified as Rhonz Frince Mitt Nere, 23; Glenn Tarroza, 23; Kirk Patrick Carpio, 25; Kady Valmorez, 18; Jheymore Pugoy, 22; Novenne Edward Lauga, 20; Vincent Philip Sinanggote, 22. “ARE YOU VACCINATED? Teachers’ Edition” SOWAIRA D. LUCMAN, Teacher III Macabalan Elementary School

Department of Education has requested the stakeholders to support the schools nationwide in the implementation of the eventual limited face-to-face classes. The Secretary emphasized the importance of shared responsibility to make sure that this expansion will be successful. In order to prepare for the expansion of this face-to-face classes, the schools take measures and interventions to ensure the safety of the learners and teachers as well during the opening of classes after pandemic times. One of the measures that the school undertakes is the vaccination of the teachers. Though according to the department, vaccination is voluntary but the school has to be responsible with the safety of everyone by allowing only vaccinated teaching and nonteaching personnel to report to school during the implementation. Why is vaccination important to teachers? Department of Education is not encouraging discrimination among vaccinated and unvac-

cinated learners but the bigger burden is put on the teachers in ensuring a safe come-back of the learners in school. Teachers are the main protector of the learners in the limited face-to-face so it is necessary for the teacher to be free from the virus by protecting himself and taking measures to assure his health condition and this could only be possible if he is vaccinated. Hence, there is no order that unvaccinated learners are prohibited from coming to school, it is in this situation that the teachers themselves take precautionary measures to protect their selves and their learners as well. The virus has affected lives in so many ways however, it could not stop the department to implement this new trends in delivering learning after two long years of struggles. So, therefore, DepEd takes into considerations the welfare and health of the children by making the teachers and other members of the school community to be vaccinated for the sake of all and to ensure that limited face-to-face implementation will be a success.

In education, do no wrong is not enough By GRACE G. ALCANTARA Teacher III Upper Carmen Elementary School

IF you are of a certain age, you remember the practice of having your teacher grade your writing by flaying it with some red-inked pen. English teachers have long since been trained not to pummel students with negative feedback. This makes sense because a focus on mistakes paralyzes the students. Instead of trying to express their ideas or arguments, the students lock into trying to write something with no mistakes. And even without the tyranny of the red pen, teachers can focus students on avoiding mistakes. That’s unfortunate because it’s not enough to avoid doing

something wrong. You have to do something right. But if you’re not doing badly, you must be doing well, right? We know better. A sports team can make zero mistakes and still lose. A musician can perform every note and every rhythm correctly and can still be boring and dull. An actor can remember every word of every line and hit every piece of blocking and still be numbingly mediocre. Trying to avoid mistakes leads inexorably to trying to avoid actively doing anything. The best way to avoid upsetting someone with your personality or opinions is to avoid having personality or opinions at all.

It has since trended back upwards but still has not reached the positive range,” the SWS noted. SWS interviewed 1,440

adult Filipinos, using sampling error margins of ±2.6 percentage points for national percentages and ±5.2 percentage points for Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao. (PNA)

his studies but plans on continuing soon. Now that JC has a family of his own, he needs to do more than that without compromising his gigs. Just like the old times, where it all started, JC continues to accept wedding gigs (as a violinist and guitarist) and other event gigs. It was really the family life that turned his life around gearing to the path

CHALLENGES AHEAD FOR TEACHERS IN THE UPCOMING FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES JOAN MAE C. TABLA Teacher I, Cagayan de Oro National High School

A teacher’s job is unlike any other as I frequently hear in the teaching community that teaching is the noblest profession. Indeed, teaching children from diverse backgrounds involves a great deal of compassion and commitment. Teachers are usually overburdened with multiple responsibilities and obstacles. Nevertheless, despite all of these challenges, a teacher’s ardent passion persists. As the world evolves, schools must adapt to the swiftly transforming times and rapid technological breakthroughs. Teachers must innovate and upgrade themselves to keep up with the rapid technological advancements. Teachers must equip themselves to appear appealing to kids who have all embraced these technological advances. As with any journey, though, there will be detours and rough roads, and the start of the Covid-19 pandemic confronted educators with yet another chal-

lenge. Teachers had to reach out to learners who could not leave their homes. Teachers had to adhere to blended learning—modules and online classes (synchronous and asynchronous learning)—regardless of their level of preparation or training. DepEd and the IATF recently evaluated prospective schools to operate face-to-face sessions, as our city has been identified as low risk for the past few months. Given the standards and protocols to follow, the school can do a great deal for the pupils, but it is up to the teachers and school staff to ensure these protocols are adhered to. According to John Strachan, a school’s most significant value is its teachers’ personalities. Consequently, teachers will play a crucial role in prospective face-to-face sessions. Let us simply maintain our optimism that the deployment of the face-to-face mode in all schools will effectively safeguard the safety of students.

“Stakeholders’ Good Relationship with the Teachers: Higher Success Rate” WENNA MANGORNONG RABADON Teacher-III F.S. Catanico Elementary School

In everything that we do, wherever we go, whoever we are with, good relationship matters to have a harmonious way of living and implementing things that would come into reality. As a facilitator and captain of learning, our primary goal for our students is to promote learning, inspire them to bring out their best and help them become productive members of the community. Some teachers are more popular than others among students. These teachers become popular by building good relationships with their students, and by treating them with respect. However, this ideal situation would not be possible without the help and support of all school stakeholders. They are individuals or groups who have an interest or concern for the school. They include parents, school administrators, board members, local government officials, alumni and socio-civic groups who contribute to the development of the school community. Thus, a healthy relationship between the teachers and stakeholders is important, as this will enable everybody to harmoniously work together, which will have a positive impact on the students. Parents desire a successful educational system for their children; while the students themselves want to receive good education. It’s easy to imagine the influence the education system has on government officials, like city councilors and district representatives, as voters also base their decision on the way public officials show their support to the school system. In fact, the community as a whole is the biggest stakeholder

in its education system. This is because local schools educate future employees, business owners and community leaders. A solid education program builds a stronger community by preparing students to be successful community members. Since everyone in a community is a stakeholder in the local education system, every stakeholder plays a different, significant role in supporting the education system. For example, a stakeholder’s input and relationship with other stakeholders are important in the planning, implementation and evaluation of, say, health promotion and education programs in schools. Their personal perceptions and understanding can help motivate children in the school environment. Parents, on the other hand, can support and influence the adoption and implementation of a solid school curriculum. In addition, the parents can help monitor and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum by keeping abreast with the performance of their children, particularly by monitoring their school activities especially their homework. Making children feel good about themselves, being loved, supported, it’s much easier to motivate them to become academically proficient. To fulfill our goals of developing successful students, teachers must work together with school stakeholders in planning and building a school community where children thrive as they enhance their learning capabilities. If this good relationship will be built and maintained, the higher success rate of their academic aspect will be achieved.

of entrepreneurship. And so, Altrecha Music Studio and Tutorial Center was born. The studio offers the following lessons: guitar, ukulele, violin, piano, drum, and voice. Administrative work By ETHEL R. MANUEL

ADMINISTRATIVE workers are those who provide support to a school. This support may include general office management, answering phones, speaking with parents and suppliers, assisting the principal, clerical work including maintaining records and entering data or a variety of other tasks. Because administration is such a broad category, there are many different administrative job titles. Some of these titles like administrative assistant and program administrator refer to jobs with similar duties. However, some job titles describe very different types of jobs. Secretaries and administrative assistants perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. They may answer phones and support customers, orga-

nize files, prepare documents and schedule appointments. Some companies use the terms secretaries and administrative assistants interchangeably. However, administrative assistants often have a higher degree of responsibility. Along with doing the work of a secretary, they may also be involved in organizing meetings and conferences, performing bookkeeping tasks and even managing the school’s funds. Financial clerks’ job includes bookkeeping, accounting and auditing. These clerks produce and maintain financial records for the school. There are also financial clerks who perform less specified duties such as carrying out financial transactions and helping customers. These clerks typically require a college degree.

from page 4 producing and marketing coal and fossil fuel? Despite the urgent call of thousands of concerned scientists all over the world to stop or even to just reduce the use of these highly-emitting CO2s, these fossil companies through their influence with powers-thatbe will not allow that! They continue to sacrifice the people and mother earth to the altar of greed and profit! Nothing is being done to shift to sustainable clean energies because of so much veneration to the profit motive! This horrible “dance of the mundane” towards extinction of life on earth will soon be over when the truism of biblical lines of “what would profit a man if he gains the whole world but suffers the loss of his soul,” has finally dawned upon all of us. For thousands of years, the teachings of Christ, Buddha and great spiritual leaders were tied-up to “dogmas” and wrong interpretations. The awakening process must now begin. We must feel the essence of life deep within and connect with the Unseen Being, the Source of all life. Feel that oneness with all of life, that great spaciousness deep within reflecting the vast “nothingness” of the Universe. When that great Stillness will dawn upon all of us that is shown by nature itself, then that oneness with all life forms will connect us to the very Source of Life which is indeed true love. Then a different dimension will loom, a transcendental dimension for us to be connected with a Universal Intelligence that will be the gateway to know who we really are, not just form but consciousness that is eternal. Jesus Himself did mention this when He said that “the Kingdom of God is within us!” Feel that and when that happens, that will be a great quantum leap in the evolutionary process and free mankind from collective insanity!

Another truck occupant, Erwin Dupalco, 35, of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur, escaped after noticing that police officers were stopping their vehicle. Confiscated inside the truck were 366 pieces of forest products that have a total volume of 12,359.13 board feet. Personnel from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the area identified the illegally transported forest products as that of the Lauan tree variety. In the upcoming summit, he said speakers are expected to provide focus on urban development, informal settlers’ families and population; land use and affordable housing; and sustainable resettlement to stakeholders. Meanwhile, Moreno, said this city and Davao City have seen high percentages of migration where rural residents in nearby provinces settle in the highly urbanized areas. As the population is noticeably expanding, Moreno said there is a need to “capacitate” cities, especially in constructing low-cost and affordable housing. “The migration is also rising, and some informal settlers are becoming a (collective) problem. We need to learn to have resettlement programs,” he said. (PNA)

LEARN TO BE HAPPY WHILE TEACHING SOWAIRA D. LUCMAN, Teacher III Macabalan Elementary School

COVID19 brought so many changes in each and everyone’s life. All of us learned to adapt to whatever changes the pandemic has put on our shoulders, from our way of life, means of communication and most specifically our source of livelihood. The outbreak caused us lots of stress and worries. The safety of our family is our main concern in pandemic times but we need also to consider the importance of our job. Teachers may faced so many challenges from the start of the virus up to the implementation of the learning modalities which keep on changing from time to time as the need arises. The changes created so much responsibilities not only to the family but to the workplace, responsibility to carry out the torch of education no matter what and where it takes. But this pandemic does not only give us negative effects, but it also gives us something meaningful which we could never forget. Teachers in pandemic times learn to adjust and adapt changes. They believe that the only constant in this outbreak is change. So,in order to cope with

the constant changes, teachers develop their own means of survival. Instead of murmuring and keep on complaining, they learn to make things worthwhile. Learning to be resilient is what a teacher needs in pandemic era. Accepting whatever new, creating something new out of the things COVID19 brought to their lives and learning to be happy while teaching are the things that make them feel physically and mentally healthy. Happiness is not an option but it is a choice. We choose to live in the worst times, we choose to be positive even when facing lots of modules to print and sort, we choose to be grateful even when series of left and right webinars come along our way, when everything seems to be scary, we chose to be brave and most importantly we choose to be happy because we know that this pandemic is just temporary but our job as a teachers is permanent and will last til the end of our time in DepEd. So, whatever it takes, learn to be happy while teaching and keep moving on because in the end, a light shines in the most spectacular way.
