Iponan Fiesta

Febuary is a month of celebration for Brgy Iponan. At the recently concluded Ms Iponan 2023 it was an honor to be a part of the pageantry.I was the chairman for the screening commitee and what a delight to see young beautiful women flourish from a shy girl to a confident lady on stage.Since the opening salvo to simultaneous events with the highlight of Humbalicious Festival this annual event brings people together with commaraderie and sportman - ship competing on friendly events.Brgy Captain Don Don Allorin made sure people are given the utmost attention by showcasing the various talent with the pool of ingeniuty in terms of style in coking in the Humbalicious Festival.Entries from different zones were displayed,Chefs local and national came to judge the event with the likes of Chef Harry Mann of Tafadal,Chef Anastasia Sabio of Anastasia lee Cakes ,Chef John Sison of Shangrila Hotel Ma - nila and friend Imee M. Van Der Born,the sense of excitement explodes in the array of humba as the entries explains the style and the proccess of cooking their humba.The chairman on Tourism Madeline Barton Cagasan has exhausted all force to make the event of the Fiesta Season successful.With the organizing team Headed by Jimmy Esmero,Oscar Samson Jr,Anthony Supieza the pageant of Ms Iponan came to a dashing and an impressive flow of geniune talents where they bring forth the expertise in staging events with ABS CBN.I applaude the whole pageantry in a miticulous preparation from day 1 to finish.The judges includes yours Truly,the Chairman of the Board Ms Mags Cue,Fashion Designer Gil Macaibay,City Councilor Jay Roa Pascual,Lhyn Ybanez of Philhealth Region 10,and Glen Cabaneros Labial of DOLE 10.It was such a fantastic and fabulous events and congratulations the newly crowned Ms Iponan Oasha Okit.To the LGU of Brgy Iponan Sikat ka Higala.
