One of our favorite moments we shared together in Tupperware was an all-expense paid trip we earned to Norway! Our incredible Freedom Sales organization, our Tupperware “family” from all over the US and Canada, and especially Darlene Morton and Sandy Wilson, all have helped us “stay the course” in tough times, celebrate the good times and create vision for the future! Building relationships has always been the foundation of our lives and gives us, our team members and our families ROOTS to grow and wings to soar. 1986 was my year for change. I was broke and desperate, and so I made the decision to give Tupperware a try! My whole life changed with that one decision. I was then a mom of four small children. I just needed something that would give me enough money to buy a gallon of milk. After my first party, I sat in my little broken down car in Debbie’s driveway, quickly calculated and realized that I had just made $50 whole dollars! I was RICH! That was going to be several gallons of milk! And I instantly loved it. That is where my story began: in a rented house, over-the-top debts and unemployment hitting my little family hard. Five months later I was driving a Tupperware car, all-expenses-paid! It sure felt good to make a difference for my family. My oldest daughter, Lisa, was nine at the time. Fast forward 16 years. My business with Tupperware grew and grew. I was not just making a difference in my own family, but in the lives of so many others. In 2002, we purchased property to build our new home, for $110,000 cash. We were completely debt free. The opportunity is REAL and it is BIG!

When I was nine, my Mom started selling Tupperware products. In high school, her Tupperware car was a silver Chevy Lumina, nicknamed by my friends the “Silver Bullet.” I remember her jumping out of the Silver Bullet to pick us up for away games or field trips, in her purple sweat pants that had TUPPERWARE written all down one leg, and her tennis shoes with the Tupperware logo. I knew that I was never going to sell Tupperware products! But she was always there—that’s what I remember; she was always there. I own those sweatpants now—Mom gave them to me as part of my “inheritance.”
I was 20 when I met the love of my life and got married. I knew immediately that I would own my own Tupperware business. As my boys have grown older, they’ve asked me why I did not go to college. My reply: “There was no degree in best wife and mom ever.” They get a good laugh. But really, Tupperware has helped me fulfill my dream to be home, but not all the time, earn an income while always placing my family first and building a strong marriage. Now I can say I am living my dream. Curtis and I travel all over the world together while raising strong, confident, goal-oriented, hardworking kids.
