The Old Ri
Founded in the late 17th century, with almost 1200m of altitude, about 500 km from Rio de Janeiro. Ouro Preto (Black Gold) was the main focus of the famous gold rush and Brazil’s golden age in the 18th century. By the 19th century when the gold mines were exhausted, and a new treasure was already born: the Villa Rica (Rich Village). Splendid churches, bridges and fountains still remain as a testimony to this prosperous period, with a unique mark of the notorious presence of the Baroque period devoted for the first-line works, including the Church of St. Francis of Assisi by the exceptional architect and sculptor, Antonio Francisco Lisboa (Aleijadinho). Nestled along the original winding road designed by the contours of the stunning rock landscape, this historic town was also the symbolic centre of Minas Conspiracy, a very important movement to the independence of Brazil. Since 1980, Ouro Preto was declared World Heritage. Since then, this universal treasure has become an oasis for artistes and philosophies seeking inspiration and art. Esplendidas igrejas, pontes e fontes permanecem como um testemunho desse período próspero com a marca única de presença notória do período barroco consagrado pelas obras de primeira linha, incluindo a Igreja de São Francisco de Assis pelo distinto arquiteto e escultor Antônio Francisco Lisboa (Aleijadinho). Situada ao longo da estrada sinuosa original, foi projetada seguindo os contornos da deslumbrante paisagem rupestre. Esta cidade histórica foi também o centro simbólico da Inconfidência Mineira, um movimento muito importante visando a Independência do Brasil. Travel back in time through Art and History. The largest art collection from Ouro Preto.
The essence of Rich Valley inspired many artists during the 18th century when it was the largest city from Brazil. The baroque revival, called the “Barroco Mineiro”, attracted the intelligentsia from all over Europe. Philosophy and art has flourished along the valley, and this period is amazingly illustrated in architecture, as well as by remarkable sculptures such Aleijadinho, painters such Mestre Athayde, composers as Lobo de Mesquita, and poets such as Tomás António Gonzaga. The essence from the Vila Rica (Ouro Preto) still inspires unique artists, and devoted “art seekers” have already recognised it as the richest and largest art collection from Ouro Preto. The works are distributed among 25 different local artists and many of the masterpieces were made at the Atelier from the gallery itself.

Venice is the capital of the Veneto region and known as the “City of Water” and “City of Masks”. It is separated by canals and linked by bridges, so the entire city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece where even the smallest building contains works by some of the world’s greatest artists. The remarkable landscape has inspired great painters such as Bellini and Giorgione, and then Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese and Tiepolo. It completely changed the perception of space, light, and colour, which leaves a decisive mark on the development of painting and decorative arts in Europe. Marked by the Golden Age,
Venice possesses an incomparable series of architecture that illustrates the height of the Republic’s splendour. It has great monuments like the Piazzan San Marco and Piazzetta, and also the cathedral, Palazzo Ducale, Marciana and Museo. Correr Procuratie Vecchie. This city is also directly associated with the history of humankind. The “Queen of the Seas” was from Venice, and Marco Polo (1254-1324) set out in search of China. It was the discovery of the world before the Portuguese. Venice has played an important role in the history of symphonic and operatic music, and it is the birthplace of Antonio Vivaldi.

A arquitetônica cidade é uma extraordinária obra-prima em que mesmo o mais pequeno edifício contém obras de alguns dos maiores artistas do mundo. The “ Incomparable Violin Virtuoso ” and the Timeless “ Le Quattro Stagioni ” The story to be remembered. Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, the violin virtuoso. The most admired of his time and known as the “Incomparable violin virtuoso”. He was born in Venice and his musical influence conquered prestigious in Italy and then all of Europe. A true music icon that has inspired other great musicians, including Bach. The Four Seasons (Italian: Le quattro stagioni) is a group of four violin concerti by the brilliant Italian composer, Antonio Vivaldi. The Four Seasons is likely Vivaldi’s best-known work. Le quattro stagioni gives a musical expression to a season of the year, which tells a story. The music not only portrays the season, but also recreates natural sound effects like storms, singing birds and barking dogs. Le Quattro Stagioni gives a musical expression every season, making a musical object in a story. An incredible retraction of the season, which also recreates natural sound effects, such as storms, birds singing and barking dogs. A true work of musical art appreciated for nearly three hundred years. The Four Seasons was first performed in Amsterdam in the year 1725.
