Personal Progress Tutors (PPTs) As a student at One, you will have a dedicated Personal Progress Tutor (PPT) who will work alongside you and your parents to provide excellent support and advice throughout your studies. During your time at One, your PPT will monitor your attendance, academic attainment and work with your parents and any external agencies, as well as acting as a student advocate. If you have any worries about the move from high school to college - don’t panic. Our guidance team will be on hand to offer you advice and support before and throughout this transition period.

Enrolment

12th August 2021 Enrolment takes place on GCSE results day (12th August 2021). Please be aware of this date when making arrangements for a summer holiday. We are experiencing high levels of interest and it is important that you attend enrolment to secure your place at One. If you are away on the enrolment date then please get in touch with us regarding your availability as soon as possible so that we can advise you on an alternative process: admissions@suffolkone.ac.uk

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) The LRC and Learning Zones at One have thousands of resources to support you. Textbooks, journals, fiction and non-fiction books, cameras, laptops and iPads are just some of the items you can borrow from this part of the college. We also have an extensive range of electronic titles on offer. Don’t be afraid to ask the Learning Resource (LRC) staff for a full list of what’s available. The team is able to advise on course materials and reading lists. All items can be borrowed from us free of charge.
