Finance

If you were in receipt of the 1619 bursary this academic year, then you will need to remember to submit an application for the next academic year. You can do this by downloading the application form from our website: suffolkone.ac.uk. You will then need to submit this, along with your evidence, to the finance office before the end of the summer term. If you have any questions regarding the 16-19 bursary, please do not hesitate to contact us: admin@suffolkone.ac.uk

Renewing or returning resources Once you have finished your exams or coursework, you must make sure to return or renew any resources that are registered to you. This should be done by 25th June 2021, at the latest. You will be unable to borrow new resources for the next academic year until all of your current resources have been returned to us. If you’re unsure of your current loans, returns or renews, just pop into the LRC or Learning Zones to speak with staff.

Top tips for assessments Now is the key time to start assessment preparation. Have a look at the revision tips on our website and don’t forget to attend subject revision and drop-in sessions. Start preparing early to give yourself plenty of time to organise a revision timetable. The earlier you start, the more prepared you will feel!

Apprenticeships & employment If you’re not applying to university, our knowledgeable guidance team will be able to offer you detailed advice and support on other routes, such as apprenticeships, internships and employment. Please speak to your PPT in Student Services for further advice and support.

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an engaging, challenging and rewarding qualification that puts you in control from the start - giving you the chance to explore a topic that really interests you. The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is worth the equivalent of half an A Level, earning you extra UCAS points

and teaching you key skills that are valued by universities, training providers and employers. You will be assigned an EPQ tutor who will be available to discuss thoughts and ideas with you, and will support you throughout the qualification. Please see suffolkone.ac.uk for more detailed information.
