REMOTE ENROLMENT 2020 FOR YEAR 12 STUDENTS
SIXTH FORM COLLEGE
Enrolment 2020
The Remote Enrolment Process We are delighted that you will be joining us at One in September. Enrolment is where we sign you up for your chosen course and is the next stage in your academic journey. Once you have received your GCSE exam results from your school, please log into your online admissions portal and follow the steps listed in this booklet to upload a copy of your results. We have extended the date of enrolment to 5pm on 24th August as we are aware that some students will not receive their GCSE results from their schools electronically on 20th August. We do however ask that as soon as you receive your results you upload them to your portal so we are able to start processing your enrolment paperwork and secure your place. If your school has informed you that you will receive your results after the 24th August, it is vital that you let us know. Failure to do this will result in us being unable to secure your place for September. This booklet contains a How To Guide, which will show you how to upload your results to the portal. As part of the process you will need to identify which category you belong to from the following: • Qualified for my course with no course changes • Qualified for my course with course change(s) • Not qualified for my course and require course guidance From 24th August, we will be inviting you by appointment to One to have your ID card photo taken. Collection of these will be arranged via appointment from 1st September. More information will follow after enrolment has taken place.
When will I know if I have my place? If you have achieved the results you need for your course you will be able to login and secure your place by 5pm on 24th August. If you would like to change one or more of your courses we will review your request. If your request is possible we will add your new subject to your timetable and we will confirm this via your portal account. If the change is not possible, we will contact you by the evening of 24th August and confirm we have reverted your programme back to your original choices. Please be aware that enrolment can be very busy and this is the first time we have hosted online enrolment. Therefore, we ask for your patience as we endeavour to get you enrolled onto your course as soon as we can.
You only need log on once to enrol Regardless of your subject combination, your enrolment for your courses will all be done with one results submission.
