Welcome Session 2021

Happy with your course choices?

We hope you have enjoyed your Welcome Session. Now you have looked around One, are you certain your courses are right for you? If you do wish to change a subject you can do this up until Friday 2nd July. After this time changes can be requested at enrolment on 12th August.

Please refer to our website for the range of courses we offer and the entry requirements needed.

When do I enrol? Online Enrolment is on:

12th August 2021

What do I need to do? Due to the success of last years online enrolment process, we will be running enrolment online again this year. At the start of the summer holidays you will be emailed a ‘how to’ guide with all the information you need about online enrolment and the process you need to follow. Once you receive your results on 12th August, you will need to upload them to your online admissions account. We ask that as soon as you receive your results you upload them to your portal so we are able to start processing your enrolment paperwork and secure your place. Failure to upload your results on 12th August may mean we are unable to offer you a place in September.

What do I need to do? As part of the online process we will ask you to upload a photo for your ID card. Collection of your ID card will take place at Induction on 1st September. More information about Induction will follow after enrolment has taken place. Once enrolment is complete and your place confirmed, we will be in touch with you to complete the process for paying your Learning Resource Payment. Go to: www.onecollege-shop.co.uk to pay the Learning Resource Payment of £40 for the loan of your course materials.

I want to swap a subject. How can I do this? Please email us at: admissions@suffolkone.ac.uk with the changes you would like to make and we will be in touch. The deadline for making course changes is 2nd July 2021. If you miss this date you will be able to request changes at enrolment. 4

What if I am away on enrolment? It is really important that we receive your results on 12th August. We have designed our system so that you can access your account while you are away and upload your results. If you have any questions about the enrolment process please email: admissions@suffolkone.ac.uk Demand for places is high, failure to notify us of your results may result in us not being able to offer you a place on a course in September.

What happens if I don’t get the results I need? Please still upload your results to the system. We will then email you a link to book an appointment to come to site and see us to discuss your options. 5

When does the new term start? The first day of term is an Induction Day and will be on: 1st September 2021 Lessons start on: 6th September 2021 We’ll make a copy of your timetable available on your admissions portal account before term starts.
