Tim Holland is the author of the Sidney Lake Mystery Novels. The fourth in the series, Deception, was released in June 2022. He is a director of the Williamsburg Book Festival, a member of Mystery Writers of America, and The Brönte Society of Haworth, England, as well as The Virginia Writers Club and Chesapeake Bay Writers. He received a Keating award for his fiction. During the past year, he incorporated his writers critique group, The Silver Quill Writers, and the six members regularly appear at fairs and art festivals.
Over the years, Tim’s freelance articles have appeared in a wide variety of newspapers and magazines, as well as having written book reviews and literary criticism for Recorder Publishing’s eight newspapers in New Jersey (while working in New York in the world of global trade finance). He has given speeches and presentations in 12 countries and 22 states, and served as president of the lifelong learning program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where he also taught a course on the Brönte sisters.
