Experimenting more within my practice through time restrictions, different mediums and a flow between analogue and digital work

Develop my understanding of colour by restricting my colour palettes in certain pieces of my work and using colour to portray an atmosphere in the pieces that I create.

Methods - Developing work for clients as well as adding to my personal portfolio - Learning what size to send to clients and in what format - Bulking out social media to create a following Products - Working on narratives to create a range of small comics/works to be sold through an etsy shop - From these small works, creating a range of stickers or badges to accompany them - Experimenting on how to apply work to publications and print

Embroidery for the badges Book binding for comics Lino cutting, for the spot illustrations, continuing on from COP work and potentially creating more posters for a limited sale Digital, working to improve my skills on creating digital backgrounds as this will save me time Photoshop/ Adobe After Effects, learning how to make GIFS faster and more effectively. Figure drawing, visiting more places that participate in life drawing as well as drawing more people around the campus etc. to encourage more varied character designs.

This brief allows me to set my own medium and colour restrictions as it is completely freed of those with the time and theme being the only thing set. It is a chance to teach to reign myself in and create a specific piece of work with the intention of selling it at CMV.

It allows me to see how my work is received by the general public, I have had my work at thoughtbubble as part of a collective and a poster in travelling man but this is a staple art venue in leeds and partaking in this will help me gauge what kind of art sells in Leeds as I have a few places booked to sell in over the next few months.
