NATASHA CHANSA Natasha Chansa (born 29 April 2000) better known as Princess Natasha Chansa obtaining the title from her Father (Chifumbe Chansa) His Royal Highness Chief Kaputa of Kaputa in the Northern Province of Zambia is a Singer, Rapper, Songwriter, Dancer signed under Zed Arts Records. Natasha was born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia.
Having started at a young age, Natasha always sang but she only got to know she was really good when people said it to her. As she got a little older she began to rap at school and went by the name ProTasha.Having so much appreciation and validation of her art from many people, Natasha began to sing and rap more and to write her own songs.At the age of 15, Natasha began to make video’s of her covering popular songs and further grew a following on social MediaHaving her debut on the zambian music scene as she featured as a rapper on Era Black 3194 Ep on Track 3. Lie to me, Natasha then became the most asked about artist.

Zodwa Wabantu on her move to Joburg and going back to school next year: "2021 is my year"
First, her home was broken into - not once but three times. She then had to sell one of her properties as she was no longer making money from it.As if that wasn't enough, she had to deal with the very public breakup with her ex Vusi, which was tabloid fodder for weeks.But even with all that, life's been good to dancer and media personality Zodwa Wabantu. She has a lot to celebrate, despite all the misfortunes that have been surrounding her life this year.She's moved into a new home in the North of Joburg, she's in a relationship again, she's shooting her reality show, and is excited about going back to school next year.“Life in Joburg is great,” she tells Drum. “And I am busy shooting my reality show.“It’s been great, and I am fully booked as an entertainer.” Drum caught up with the dancer and businesswoman who tells us what has been happening in her life.Why did you decide to move to Joburg?I moved to Joburg because I had three break-ins at my home in Durban. I felt it was a sign that I was done with the place, it was no longer productive but taking me backward. And that gave me a reason to really look deep within myself for change.

How has life been like since you moved? Life in Joburg is great. I am shooting my reality show, I signed a contract with Sony Music Entertainment for master royalties for a song named after me, Zodwa Wabantu by TNS.I also enrolled at the Star Quality Performing Arts College (SQPAC). Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is the one who told me about the school. I am focusing on work opportunities and not the party life of Joburg.What motivated your decision to go back to school?I am always learning something new in life. So, what motivated me is the opportunity to challenge myself to want to know more about anything that I want to do.I’m a go-getter and it felt right for me to go back to school because I can now afford it. I didn’t finish school nor liked it because of the poverty we were faced with at home while growing up! Why did you choose Star Quality Performing Arts College?I wanted to find a place that could understand me and my needs.Star Quality Performing Arts College is owned by two black females and that already meant they would be able to connect and understand what it is that I want.Also, the school has black teachers and they teach in both vernac and English, and they understand the South African television market as the owners Zinzi and Miranda are not only actors themselves, but they run an acting agency meaning they will know where I would fit in this industry.
