Travillae is a visionary project aimed at establishing a vibrant and culturally immersive backpacker hostel in the breath taking landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. Which is unique & sustainable that caters to the needs and preference of backpacking travelers while embodying the essence of the region’s natural beauty and cultural richness. This initiative is driven by the commitment to provide budget-friendly accommodation to travelers while fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the rich local culture. It harmonizes with the natural surroundings, promotes wildlife conservation, and offers a memorable experience for visitors. It provides a scenic 360° view of the beautiful rivers and mountains.

The identity of a place, region, community, or a group lies in its past - its historical and cultural heritage which is unique to that group or society and reflects the rich and diverse creations of humankind especially in its built heritage. Adaptive reuse and extension of the identified built heritage as Heritage Resort, Kanota, Rajasthan, should complement and enhance the Heritage Building. The major positivity of the existing building is the elements that used in it. That includes Chajja, Chhatri, Jharokha, Parapets, Central courtyard and materials include jaipur stone, sand stone, granite, marble etc. And also the usage of stained glass windows, motifs, etc. Which providing a royal ambiance to the entire structure so it will be a pluspoint to attract guests into the resort and increase the productiv-
ity. So that we mainly focused on our design to maintain the elements & materials which used in the existing structure into the new block to achieve the heritage royal experience.
